Taylor Swift

I don't get why people hate on Taylor. I really don't.

 I know, everyone has their opinions. Heck, this whole book is about my opinions. 

But why do you hate on her? 

My friend didn't like her because she sang WANEGBT in an English accent for Harry. And my friend was a big Directioner.

I've heard people hate her for 'only writing about love'. That's the biggest one.

The thing is, people, she doesn't only write about love. 

Go through a list of her recorded songs and you'll find The Best Day which she wrote about how her mom was always there for her.

Tied Together With A Smile is a song she wrote about a girl with an eating disorder.

Ronan is a song about a beautiful little boy with cancer. That makes me cry everytime I hear the song or read Ronan's story.

Sure, most of the time she writes about love. But most music artists do, these days. Look at most songs by Carrie Underwood, Ed Sheeran. Almost everyone. All about love.

Another thing I've heard is people hate her voice. I will agree, it isn't the best voice out there. But she is fantastic at singing her own songs. 

Her lyrics are spot on amazing, poetic, and relatable. Look at All Too Well-- "I forget about you long enough to forget why I needed to." That's just ONE of the beautiful lines from that song.

I suppose people also hate on her and her 'long list of ex-lovers', as she says in Blank Space. They say she's had lots of boyfriends, but she really hasn't...

There are only six people there (not including Calvin, her current boyfriend). I think some people have the notion that there are many more than six, maybe, oh, I don't know...twenty sounds about right!

A friend of mine thought every song Taylor wrote was about a different person. 

Ha, no.

I will never understand people. They hate on someone who wears far more modest clothing than most girls these day. Someone who's every single is a hit song.

I...I just really love Tay. She has amazing music and is one of my biggest role models. I can't stand when people disrespect her. 

Once again, this is just my opinion. Everyone feels differently about her, but if you diss her in my presence... *holds up sword and shield* I WILL DEFEND HER REPUTATION
