I'm still mad about Elimination Chamber. Every time I think about it I get so flipping angry.
Why, Vince?! Why??
I did not expect a title change at a last-minute PPV like that. And when Seth pushed the referee in front of him *cough*because he's a wimp*cough* then I though it was all over.
And THEN! Dean Ambrose came in for the pin. Unfortunately, there was no referee because the one Seth shoved was knocked over by Dean and was having problems or something in the corner. So a new ref came out and counted 1, 2, 3...
I went nuts. I was probably so loud the neighbors could hear me. I thought MAH FAVORITE WRESTLER HAD JUST GOTTEN THE TITLE THAT HE RIGHTFULLY DESERVED.
But noooooo.
Couldn't let it end happily, could you Mr. McMahon?
Nope. The referee decided to be stupid. Even though Dean got the pin, the ref decided to pretend like it never happened and that it was just a disqualification. And of course, with a DQ...the title can't change hands.
Blegh. Dean was still not champ.
And he didn't win at MITB either, even though THE TITLE WAS IN HIS HANDS WHEN HE FELL BUT THAT DIRTY CHEATER SETH TOOK IT FROM HIM...calm yourself, Abby.
Yeah. Still mad.
WWE doesn't seem to realize what talent he has. When the Shield broke up then they pushed Reigns and Rollins, but left Ambrose in the dust.
He became a massive crowd favorite, but they still weren't giving him opportunities. He lost at every PPV he was in. Even though he was killing it at Raw/Smackdown with his amazing promos and matches, and even though he gets a huge pop every time he comes out...
Nope. WWE just likes to ignore him.
Even though every rivalry he had been in was good. Seriously, there was at least one memorable moment in every one of his singles rivalries. We all know how classic his Seth rivalry was, the Bray rivalry was kind of random, but we can't forget his promo about the 'video recording' (which was so funny XD). BNB, once again random ( I think it started with him losing the Royal Rumble and then saying he wanted the IC title? I can't remember.) but still good. Remember how he ziptied Barrett's hands to the post so he could do the contract signing?
Ahh...memories.
And even after all of this, even after he's PROVED that he's good, they still refuse to give him a title shot.
UNTIL!
May rolled around, and Payback was here. Kane decided to be a nice person and let us decide who should be in the match for the WWE championship, so of course we choose BOTH Roman and Randy. I was mad that Dean wasn't there, because he totally deserved a shot at this point. Pardon me if I'm wrong, and if you know the story, but I believe someone important (can't remember who, sorry) mentioned the fact that Dean was not even an option. I may not remember who it was, but I know he was important because the very next week, Dean was given a match for the chance to be in a Fatal Four Way match at Payback. Coincidence? I think not.
And he won that match, so he was in the PPV. Go Dean.
And then he lost at Payback. Boo. But then he asked (demanded) for a match at Elimination Chamber, and we all know how that went. Same with MITB. I was hoping ever since WM that he would be given a chance at getting the MITB briefcase. Think how awesome it would be in his hands!
WWE decided to opt him out of that match and give the briefcase to Sheamus (seriously T_T) and he didn't win at MITB, but I've already ranted about that.
Why doesn't WWE realize what they've got here? He's had a record-setting streak for holding the US title and Undertaker came to Smackdown to wrestle with him, his first time appearing outside of WM in years.
Undertaker and the fans think Dean's something special. WWE doesn't. At least give Dean another singles championship, because putting him in random matches with Bo Dallas or other jobbers aren't going to make the fans happy. Sure, we love seeing him at least once in a Raw, but give him a good rivalry. Give him a championship (preferable THE WWE championship). And don't waste your good talent.
(Woo! Felt good to rant about that.)
