After driving through Seattle like a mad man, I went to the airport and went on my private jet and flew to New York. Once the jet landed I used my Ferrari and went to my apartment to shower and change before
meeting my fiancé.

I couldn't believe that I was engaged. I couldn't absorb the thought of marrying someone I didn't love or even know in the first place. After my shower I dried myself off and put on a tuxedo.

I took my phone out and dialed my grandfather's number. He answered on the third ring.

"Good evening, grandfather." I said. "I called to ask where I'll be going."

"Ahh, okay." He first said. "Just head to the Four Seasons's grand ballroom, be there 8:00 sharp. Got it? We're going to a charity event to make your engagement public."

"Yes, bye." I hung up and grabbed my car keys and went to the garage and got into my car.

I came before eight and I still had a couple of minutes to spare. I decided to go to the bar and order a drink, I needed it to calm my nerves and to get through the night. Once he bartender gave me my drink I took a sip and began looking all over the ballroom for my grandfather, but I didn't see him any were.

But I did see this woman who wore a light blue floor length evening gown which was adorned with tiny crystals, her shoulders were bare, her skin was like porcelain, so white, it looked so soft. Her hair was made into a messy bun and loose tendrils of her hair cascaded down her face. And her eyes, they were a much paler shade than her dress and gosh did she look beautiful.

She was standing alone by this large pillar, like she tried to hide but it was hard to not notice her. I mean who could t notice her? She looked like a diamond.

I'm going to consider myself the craziest and stupidest man in the world if I don't go to her. To hell if I was engaged I didn't sign up for it so I'd better make my time by myself worth it.

I finished my drink and went over to the girl. From afar she looked beautiful but as I got closer she looked stunning. She didn't notice me when I approached.

"Hi there." I said as I stood infront of her.

She didn't notice me and just kept on looking at the dance floor where a bunch of people danced.

"Ummm... Miss?" I said and touched her shoulder.

"Oh, sorry I didn't notice you." She turned to me her eyes wide, she had long lashes and they framed her eyes perfectly. "I'm not used to being noticed and I thought you were talking to someone else." Her face flushed.

"It's alright, miss." I smiled at her. "Would you like to dance?"

"Sorry sir I don't know how to dance." She flushed again, her cheeks looked lovely.

"Come on, I'll teach you. That is if you'd dance with me." I held out my hand.

"Hmmm..." She looked hesitant. "You're a stranger, we don't even know each other's names."

"You drive a though bargain miss." I joked. "Let's introduce ourselves when we're done dancing. It would be more fun and you look like you need some fun."

After a while of contemplating she nodded her head and we went to the dance floor. Just as we found a place as new song played, it was Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra.

I snaked a hand around her waist and I took my other hand and held her's in mine and pulled her close. She looked at me in shock but she just went with the flow. I knew she was scared at first but after a while she got used to it and in no time we were gliding through the dance floor. As the song ended we were smiling at each other and her eyes dazzled with joy.

"So, I think you owe me something mystery man I just danced with." She teased.

I smiled at her, wow she's really something. It's a shame I'm engaged.

"I'm -" I stared but was cut off by my grandfather's voice.

"Ahhh, I see you've already met each other." I turned to face him and he smiled at me and the woman I was holding in my arms.

"What are you talking about?" I asked. I looked at him and back at my dance partner. She looked confused, then after realization dawned on her face.

"Jackson, meet Eva Montaigne. Eva, meet Jackson Rutherford. She's the woman you're engaged to and he's the man you're engaged to." He said with a wicked gleam in his eyes.

"You two are getting married."
