Taking Isabelle and Steven out for dinner, Stevie and Lindsey sat very close to each other at the table, talking with out a care in the world as they all laughed. They still had not let Isabelle know that her adoptive mother had stopped by, Lindsey thought that it would be best for Stevie to talk to her privately to avoid a possible mood swing. If he knew that Isabelle had similar mood swings to her mother then he would prefer not seeing it.

They all sat at a fine New York Italian restaurant that Isabelle suggested, it had a beautiful dance floor in the middle of the room as a small instrumental band played soft music. Lindsey placed a hand on Stevie's knee and rubbed at it, feeling her hand lay on top of his as she stroked his fingers. He smiled in her direction and Isabelle couldn't be more than pleased, nudging her boyfriend that was finishing up his meal.

"I think the two of you should dance," Isabelle said boldly, "I would love to dance with Steven but the fact that it's so hard to get close with my belly, it's impossible, but I'd love to watch you and dad," looking at her mother.

"Your father has never been a good dancer -"

"I'd love to," Lindsey interrupted as he stood from his seat, giving Stevie his hand.

Stevie looked at her daughter shockingly as she then smiled and stood to take Lindsey's hand, feeling him graze the small of her back as he escorted her to the dance floor. They assumed the position and began to sway, feeling almost apprehensive to get too close.

"You smell good," Lindsey complimented as his hands met her hips.

"Careful," bringing his hands up to her back again.

"I'm sorry," leaning his face against hers, "You're so beautiful, Stevie."

"I thought that you didn't want Isabelle to feel as if we're back together."

"She's very obsessed with getting us back together."

"Then why didn't you just let me get us out of dancing?"

"Well, maybe it's because...I wanted to," brushing his lip against her ear.

Her arms went lovingly around his neck as her chest was plastered against his, feeling his heart beating fast, "Where is this leading us, Linds?"

"I don't know but I just want to feel the moment with you, to be this open with you again. It's been so long since we've been able to be in a room with out wanting to rip the other's head off."

Sighing, she knew that he was right, but would it even last?

Heading back to Isabelle's apartment, they all sat down in the Family room as Stevie began to light some candles that had been laying around. She was dying to smell them.

Lindsey walked back to the guest room to grab the acoustic, bringing it out so everyone could see and immediately, Isabelle's face lit up with surprise.

"Daddy," placing her hands to her face as she stood up slowly, "Is that...?" pointing to the guitar.

"For you?" her father asked playfully, though he knew, "The guitar? Oh, yeah, this!" handing it to her, "I found this for you today and I remembered how much you wanted to learn."

A few tears fell down her face as she tried to get the guitar to lay correctly, her large baby bump was making it impossible to do.

Lindsey chuckled, "Here, dear," taking it from her as he helped her sit back down on the couch, sitting right next to her, "What would you like to hear? Anything in particular?"

Isabelle looked towards her mother that was sitting appreciatively across from them, "I want to hear, Landslide."

Stevie sat up in the chair as Lindsey looked over at her, "With or with out singing?"
