Weeks had gone by since Lindsey called Stevie, telling her how he was going to attend marriage couseling with his wife, and how even though things seemed to be getting better between them - his feelings for Kristen were nothing but friendship. Lindsey would attend the sessions with her every Wednesday mornings and then they would head back home to take their kids out for lunch, then allowing them to pick anywhere they'd like to go for the rest of the day.
It was crucial in the counseling for the spouse that was lacking the emotional connection with his wife, to engage in activities with every family member. Their counselor was trying to get Lindsey to realize the large part he was playing in all their lives and how with out him, his spot would be nill. It would show him just how much of an impact he was having with being a father.Lindsey understood where these sessions were taking him and he knew that he played a huge role in his family life but denying the fact that there were no longer feelings left for his old flame, that was impossible, even brought up in the sessions where he mentioned his affair. It tore Kristen to pieces as he talked about Stevie, talked about how he's covered up every emotion that he's had for the older woman tucked away in his heart, treating her with disrespect to keep himself at distance. As in with resenting Stevie, it allowed him to be able to go on and keep her at bay, since when they got along well...it was no denying that the romance would come on heavily. His mind and body could not deny the other woman and even though Kristen was younger, still had many years left of her beauty, Lindsey was taken with everything Stevie had to offer. It was her grace, kindness, courage, and heart. The way they could bring each other so much passion just by a kiss and being with her intimately even years after breaking off their love affair, Lindsey knew deep down that it never really stopped, maybe physically but not mentally.
Stevie was keeping herself busy, finally fully moved in to her Malibu home, and she couldn't be more than pleased with how it turned out. She brought in all her belongings from her condo and had them moved in to the house, giving up all her old furniture to charities, as she wanted a new start with new things.
Isabelle called everyday, Karen having to help Stevie learn how to Skype, so she could see Lindsey. He had already grown some from the first time she saw him, now really able to see the bright shiny star that he was, having large round eyes like his mother. Stevie told her daughter that she wanted them to come and visit when they had the chance, that she literally had made a room JUST for Lindsey, so as he got older he would have his own place to sleep and play. Isabelle was overwhelmed with her mother's dedication to her Grandson and couldn't feel more blessed. They even talked over marriage plans for her and Steven but Isabelle wanted to do most of the planning in person, wanting her mother to help her pick out a theme and location. Stevie was very creative and most people she knew would flock to her for suggestions.
With keeping up with her Grandson's growth and the daily lives of her daughter and future son in law, Stevie was also working on her story idea for her own movie. She wanted to start thinking about her future and how soon it would be almost impossible to tour and do the things that she loved most, plus the research of the Victorian era she wanted to set this film in was giving her a great distraction from Lindsey. Her ideas for creating the movie, Rhiannon, were coming together perfectly.

Making sure that everything was perfect in her new house, Stevie was taking extra steps to make her guests comfortable. Isabelle was coming to visit in Malibu, bringing along little Lindsey and Steven. There was so much excitement going through her as she was finally going to have guests in this house and be able to share it, as it was so big, even Stevie began to wonder why she would buy such a large house again when all it would be was her and Karen.
Checking over the nursery that would end up being Lindsey's own pad as he got older, Stevie sat down in the rocking chair as she admired her decorating, often wondering if it was a tad much, but she loved her Grandson and this was the first time she would most likely ever get a Grandchild. There was no way that she would pass up on this to go all out with toys and necessities. Stevie was already sending large checks to a personal savings account for Lindsey, wanting him to be as safe and secure for the future as possible. She always thought a step ahead and wished she could have done that with Isabelle but now she could give Isabelle all she wanted, and more.
