Between You and Me

Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2

After role call with Mr Sanders it was off to period 1. My favourite subject, Art with my favourite teacher, Miss Shelley. Kat and I were in the same class so we made our way up the stairs leading to the Art block.

Miss Shelley greeted me at the door with a cheerful smile but when Kat walked into the classroom she just recieved a stern look from our teacher.

"Why does she hate me?" Kat asked me as we took our seats next to each other.

I simply shrugged my shoulders and took out my paint set.

We had been working on our major artworks for the semester, mine was of an elephant. I don't really know why I did an elephant but I have to say it look pretty good so far.

Once we had all got started Miss Shelley left the room to help one of the year 12 girls with her HSC artwork. Kat and I immediately turned to each other and started talking about the carnival on Friday even though we still had to get permission from our parents.

Art had finished and it was time for period 2, Maths. I HATE maths, although it's not my worst subject and I'm actually pretty good at it, I hate maths with a passion.

Thankfully Aria, Kat and my other close friend Channelle were in my class. I think if they weren't I would die!

Our teacher, Mr Manfree had a massive beer gut, it was soooo distracting! He was teaching us about Fractions.

Ehh so annoying! When are you ever gonna need to know that 6/8 equal 2/3. NEVER! I couldn't wait until the period was over and it was recess.

As usual I got my butter roll and honey soy chicken chips from the canteen. It might sound gross but its delicious and I get one almost everyday.

After my usual canteen visit I head to my locker so I could get my books for the following lessons, History and English. In history we were learning about the Middle Ages which was actually pretty interesting and in English we were study a Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare which no body could understand a word of.

I met Sam, Kat and Aria in 'our spot' where we meet every recess and lunch. It's away from everyone behind the office block and no body else would sit there so we could practically do whatever.

One the bell went for Period 4 I couldn't wait for the day to be over.
