CHAPTER 3

The school bell just rang for the end of the day and I bolted to the bus stop so I could get home ad quickly as possible. I had to know whether I was allowed to go to the carnival or not.

Within a minute or 2 my bus was pulling into the bus bay, I quickly got on, paid and stuck my headphones in. Part of Me by Katy Perry. It was my favourite song at the time.

Once I hopped off the bus I walked as quickly as I could up the stairs at my front door.

The door opened and I threw my school bag on the floor running to find my mum.

But how could I forget it was Tuesday, the day that my nanna and pop are looking after my and my brother, John.

Ehh I guess I'll just have to wait.

At 4pm I got a call from Kat, she was desperate to know whether I was aloud to go or not.

"Can you go? Can you go! Are you allowed to go? Can you go!!!?" She practically yelled through the phone.

"Mums not home yet" I replied.

"OMG well call me when she's home okay!!"

"Alrighty then. Did you ask your mum yet?" Kat's mum was really nice, she was young so she let Kat do pretty much anything. So I already knew the answer.

"She said I can go but at least one person has to come with me." She said sounding almost disappointed.

"My mum will probably say yes so your stuck with me." I jokily replied

"That's okay. I'm looking forward to it." Kat said with a laugh, "Aria just messaged me, she can't go with us."

"Awww. Have you heard from Sam?"

"Nah. Her dad doesn't get home until 5:30. Hey I have to go do my homework. Talk to ya later."

"Wow Kat. Your actually doing your homework, this is a first. HAHA! See ya" I said because Kat never does her homework but some how gets away with a warning most of the time.

I hung up the phone, chucked it on my bed and headed straight for the kitchen. Time for some food.

I was always either dancing, playing soccer or eating. Somehow I didn't really put on any weight. If I didn't do the amount of sport I do then I would be fat. No lie. Haha

After getting of my favourite after school snacks; chocolate biscuits and grapes, I planted my butt on the lounge and put on my favourite show: Pretty Little Liars.

Great start to the afternoon.
