CHAPTER 5

~ Lily's P.O.V

"KAAATTT!!!! I can go!" I said excitedly over the phone to Kat.

"YAYAY! It's just you and me because Sam said she can't go." Kat said. "She texted me before."

"Yeah, she texted me too."

"Oh well. Just us two then. We'll go on all the rides! Sam and Aris hate rides."

"They really do. I'll go on anything that doesn't go upside down." I warned her. "Can I tell you something."

"Yeah sure. Anything." Kat said sounding confused.

"Well... you can't laugh but there's this guy and..." I didn't even get time to finish my sentence but she knows me too well.

"Omg you like him don't you? Is he hot? Can I meet him?!" Damm how does she know me so well.

"I don't really know him but yeah, I think I do."

"Eeppp!! What does he look like?" She said excitedly.

"Well he's tall and has brown curly hair which he kinda swishes to one side. Um he has really dark brown eyes and the cutest dimples I think I've ever seen." I replied with the biggest smirk on my face.

"Nawww. How many times have you seen each other?" Kat asked

"Just the one time after dancing."

Kat gave a bit of a gasp shocked at my answer. "One time! One time! You can't like a guy if you've met one time!! Yous only spoke for 5 minutes anyways. He could be a drug dealer or a pedophile or a."

I interrupted her, I wasn't taking anymore of this.

"Says the girl who went out with someone over Facebook. How many times did you actually meet each other, like twice in what 3 months. So you can't say anything about me and Hayden because you don't know my feelings and you don't know him! Why can't you just be happy for me because he's probably doesn't even like me. He probably doesn't think of me in a girlfriend way. He probably sees me as some clumsy stupid girl that he ran into him. So are you happy because nothing it probably ever going to happen between us. " I hung up on Kat not giving her anytime to respond. I assume she's pretty shocked at my little outburst. I just get so sick of people telling me what to do without thinking what I think.

I sat down on my bed and began to cry because I knew Kat was right, Hayden probably wouldn't be thinking about me the way I'm thinking about him.

*knock knock*

"Lily? You in here? What did Kat say, I heard you yelling. Is everything alright? Said my mums familiar voice as she entered my room.

Dam it was I really that loud.

"Umm" I said, not wanting to tell her because hopefully this whole disagreement with Kat would be better by tomorrow . "Kat's dog died and... um I'll just miss that little guy that's all."

I realise it's not my best excuse but hopefully she bought it. My fingers were crossed under my blanket.

"Oh well if that's all I'll just leave you to it" mum said. Yes! She bought it and I could tell by her voice that she though it was stupid.

I laid back down with my head on my pillow. I was ready for an early night and eventually I drifted off to sleep.

I just wanted the day to end.
