Between You and Me

Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

I arrived at school on the 18th of July. I was immediately greeted my best friend Aria.

She had sandy blonde hair, blue eyes and possibly the whitest skin I had every seen.

Aria had an unhealthy obsession with One Direction so she would always come out with the most random facts about her 'future husband' Niall Horan and the rest of his band mates, so I was wondering what would be this weeks useless fact.

Just as expected, she came rushing over towards me and without even say hello she yelled "OMG Lily did you know Niall had hamburgers for dinner last night and... I had hamburgers last night! OMG we're so made for each other."

I simply replied "That's so amazing, OMG. I'll be the brides maid at your wedding". Realising my sarcastic tone she changed to subject "Where's Sam and Kat?"

Within seconds of Aria's question Sam and Kat, my other 2 best friends came running towards us.

Kat had dirty blonde, curly hair and when she straightened she looked exactly like Aria which freaked everyone out. She was holding a Red Bull in her right hand.

OMG I hate it when she drinks those but as much as I tried to stop her from buying them she just won't listen.

Sam was possibly the smartest person I know. She had light brown eyes and light brown hair, almost the same colour as mine. Sam's hair is really super thick so she usually just puts it into a pony tail and today was no different.

You could tell they were excited about something but the question was what? With them it could be anything.

Kat was first to reach the table where Aria and I were sitting, she said out of breath "ok so there's this carnival on Friday afternoon, do you want to go, all 4 of us?!"

Sam finally arrived and was nodding so much she looked like a bobble head.

Aria and I agreed soon after, so Kat gave us the details and that afternoon we had to ask out parents.

The school bell rang so we moved off to our homeroom classes. Aria and I were in 8E and right next door to us was Kat and Sam in 8F.

We were all so excited for the events on Friday and were mentally planning what was going to happen there but none of us could imagine what really would happen there.
