Warrior cats "The Stranger"

Chapter 5

Me, my siblings and our mentors, had already started walking through the mushy green forest.

So far, I was loving it. I loved the feel of the leaves under my paws.
I loved the smell of prey almost everywhere I went.

You've finally felt the taste of freedom. How do you like it?

I purred, "It feels awesome!" I meowed mentally.

Suddenly the other cats stopped.

"Alright, we are at the edge of Thunderclan territory..."
Swiftdapple meowed.
"Over there is Shadowclan, then, Windclan is on that side, then all the way across the lake is Riverclan. Near Riverclan is a huge island where all the clan cats go to gatherings.
Since where here, let's start marking the territory."

Swiftdapple walked somewhere
and did...something that sounded like trickling water, it smelled gross.

I was really getting confused now. What was Swiftdapple talking about?

I leaned over and shyly whispered to my mentor, "What is she talking about?"

Sparrow seemed quite surprised that I actually spoke to him. I guess since I was so shy and all.

I, quite annoyed at my mentors surprise, shook my head.

I looked in his direction, trying to stare into his eyes so he would get the point.

He stood there confused.

Aren't mentors told everything about their apprentices?

I sighed
"Don't you know that I'm blind? I thought mentors where supposed be told everything about their apprentices?" I asked, mumbling.

"Oh" he paused, probably nodding his head. "I was told. You just didn't tell me that you didn't understand. I can't read minds you know."

"Yes I did!"

"Oh right sorry. What are you confused about?" He asked.

"Where was Swiftdapple pointing to when she mentioned the territories?"

Sparrow stood up, "Come on I'll show you."

He walked away. I sat there for a second, then stood up and followed him.

I heard the small waves hit the rocks and pebbles, I quite enjoyed it.

"Ok" Sparrow meowed. "Over-" he paused for a minute and grabbed some things and made a little thing at my paws.

He lifted my paw with his own and directed to everything.

"This is the lake," he placed my paw on a big flat rock,"We are...here" he dragged it to two small pebbles. "
"This is Windclan, which is over there," he held it up in the air, pointing in the direction of Windclan."
"Then that's..."

He kept on showing me all the territories.

Then he made me point to where all the territories where. Honestly, I thought it was kind of fun, it was like a game.

Until we had to go and see some other territory.

It wasn't boring, but it wasn't fun either.

We just walked around the forest, the mentors giving landmarks on the way.

Finally, after what felt like a moon, we headed back to camp.

It was almost sundown, I could tell by how cold it was, and we were getting tired.

We finally reached camp.
Sparrow touched my shoulder with his tail tip.

"I'll teach you you how to hunt tomorrow, okay?"

I nodded and trotted to the nursery.

Then I realized that the nursery was no longer my den. Plus, Dawncloud probably moved out by now.

So I turned and headed to the apprentices den. I felt felt warmth swell inside me, I was now an apprentice!

I stood in the entrance, suddenly not knowing what to do.

Until I heard Flamepaw's familiar meow, "Echopaw, over here!"
He called quietly.

I walked over, trying not to step on lumps of fur.

Flamepaw patted his paw on a nest next to him.

I laid down and curled up.

Then I recognised a familiar scent.

Jaypaw?! His soft blue-grey pelt was almost touching mine.

I laid my head down and closed my eyes, listening to the sound of the wind, that seemed to sound like the strange voice.

That's weird.
Why does the wind sound like the main voice?

I opened my eyes.

Wait... could the main voice I've been hearing, possibly be the wind?

I mentally shook my head, no it can't be.

I closed my eyes and started to fall asleep.

But I faintly heard the voice say
"Oh, but I am."

I forgot and ignored it and went into the normal dream world.

DUN! DUN! DUUUN!

Haha! So what do you guys think of this story?

Should I keep writing it, or end it here and now?
