Ten minutes later we were at Sara's house. She did no live very far from me but it was like a totally different world. My house was a one floor two bedroom, one bathroom house, no yard in the run down part of town. Sara's house was a monster next to mine.
Hers was a brand new house it was built a little over two years ago and consisted of three floors. It had three bedrooms on the second floor and a finished basement and attic. The siding was a warm yellow. She had a huge yard that had a nice in ground pool. I loved her pool, I loved to swim and if it was not for her I would never get to.
She parked her car in her four car garage and we made our way inside. We did not have to walk far. The door rite in front of her car lead into the finished basement. It was made into a little apartment for Sara. Once through the door in front of us going off to the rite was the stairs that lead to the rest of her house. On the wall directly to out rite was a counter top with a full kitchen built into it. There was a double sink, a stove top and oven. She also had all the appliances you would need. A microwave, coffee pot, toaster and toaster oven. There were cabinets above and below that consisted of dishes, pots and pans. A few feet in front of the kitchen under the stairs was a dining room table. On the wall next to the table was glass French doors that opened up to the lower deck that lead out to the back yard and the pool. A few feet in front of the table sat a couch that could fit four. In front of that there was a flat screen mounted on the wall. Off to the right of her couch was her bed.
I took a seat down on the couch and she walked over to her closet that was in-between her TV and bed.
"What should I wear? What should I wear?" She asked herself.
I sat there looking around while I waited for Sara to come out of her closet.
"Here it is." She said as she latterly jumped out of her closet.
She then stripped down rite where she stood. Sara had no boundaries. She stepped into it then walked over to me.
"Zip me." She said as she turned her back to me.
I did as she asked.
She turned around and I got a good look at her. It was a form fitting dress that stopped a few inches above her knees. The bottom half was purple and was separated at the waist by a five inch thick black fabric. The top was made out of a shiny silver top that was made out of beads. It was made so it could be seen through. Her lace black bra was the only thing stopping me from seeing her breasts. She looked pretty but where did she think we were going.
"You do remember that the invitation said casual dress rite?" I asked her. "And we want you to blend in not stick out."
"This is casual for me." She said.
"You should really change." I told her in one last effort to have her put on something more appropriate.
"I am going in this or I'm not going at all." She told me sternly.
"Whatever you say." I said as I rolled my eyes at her.
She just smiled at me and walked over to her bed. She bent down and pulled out a bag from under her bed.
"It's time for make up." She said with a smile. She is such a girly girl. She loved getting all dressed up and doing her makeup.
I did what I always do. I let her do her own hair and make-up then I would let her get started on mine.
Around forty-five minutes later she walked over to me.
"Done." She said. "What do you think?"
She looked beautiful just like she always did. Her hair was up in a low messy bun. It pulled her hair back out of her beautiful oval shaped face but still was loos enough to look natural. Her cheeks where like a pink rose against her pale skin. Her lips were now painted a pale pink that matched her cheeks. Her big green almond shaped eyes where lined with a thin line of black eye liner that was framed by metallic silver eye shadow. She knew how to give the smoky eye look a howl knew meaning.
"Now it's your turn." She said to me with a smile.
I made my way over to the kitchen table and sat in one of the chairs. I handed her my make-up bag and let her get to work. She never let me see what it was she was doing until she was done. I had grown to just trust that the outcome was going to be great.
When she was done she handed me the mirror. I was rite I was happy with her work. My hair lay at shoulder length. It sat in light natural looking waves. My olive skin sat perfectly against my dark pink lips. My hazel eyes shown through the dark grey smoky eye shadow that looked sexy as hell pared along with my long thick eye lashes. She always knew how to make me look amazing.
"I look amazing. Thank you." I told her.
"Of course you do. No let's get going. We don't want to be late." She said as she walked away from me.
As we drove there we made a plan on how to get Sara into the house. We agreed on that she would drop me off at the front door. Once I was inside she was going to ditch her car and give me a call. I would excuse myself to use the bathroom and sneak her in through a window. It seemed simple enough. She insisted it would work but I had a sinking feeling in my gut that Sara really should not be sneaking in to this party.
When we arrived at the house the black front mettle gate that sat at the front of the property not chained up as it normally was but left open. I looked around expecting to see the guard who is always sitting at the front gate but he was not there. We drove rite in. I heard Sara next to me gasp and I knew exactly why.
The property looked amazing. The drive way that lead up to the house was freshly paved not like the normal cracked and broken one that sat there just a few days ago. The grass was no longer brown and dead but lush and green. The same applied for all of the trees that lined the drive way all the way up to the house. When we pulled up to the front of the house we could see that it also looked brand knew. It's chipped, and falling off siding was all knew and painted a lovely blue.
"When did they have time to do all of this?" Sara asked.
"I don't know. I swear just two days ago this place was still a mess."
Against what we planned we parked the car and both Sara and I stepped out of the car and looked around.
"It looks like a real house?" Sara said as if it was not a real house before.
Even though the house looked brand knew there was still a heavy feeling in the air. If it was not for the five cars that already sat in the drive way I would have thought this place to be completely deserted. Even the security was nowhere to be found.
"I guess everyone's inside." I said.
"I guess it looks like we can just walk in through the front door." She said.
We made are way up the front stairs and stood in front of the door. I reached out and turned the knob. To are luck it was unlocked. I opened up the door quietly and slowly trying not to draw attention to us. We wanted to get Sara in unseen. I was about to take a step inside when Sara told me to hold on.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
Sara looked as pale as a ghost. She was actually shaking.
"I don't know. I just don't think this is a good idea anymore." She said.
It was strange she never got nervous. She had nerves of steel. I did not understand why she had a sudden change of heart.
"It's going to be okay." I said as I reached out and grabbed hold of her hand.
She seemed to calm down the second I touched her. She shook her head to let me know she was now ready to step inside. She walked up next to me and we stepped through the door together.
