“What do you mean I don’t know?” I asked him. I was very concerned.

Did this mean that they are going to drag me away like they did to the others?

“Your garments look like those of the forest, but you have some armor which is similar to those that belong to the warriors.” BaelEruil said.

“So.” I said not getting what he was telling me.

“The races garments choice you. They never mix. It’s how everyone is distinguished from one and other. Plus you have two weapons. The staff is obviously forest, the sword is warrior.”

“Maybe I’m both.”

“You don’t get it.” He yelled at me.

“No one is both. You can only belong to one race and one clan.”

“She cannot possibly be a warrior.” One of his sidekicks said speaking for the first time.

“Why is that?” I asked.

“Because no women has ever been a warrior. The warrior race consists of only men.” BaelEruil.

Their eyes were all on me. It made me so uncomfortable. It was obvious they were trying to figure out what to do with me.

“Step forward.” He said.

He wanted to see what clan I belonged to before he arrested me because that was the only thing I could see happening.

I stepped forward. He reached out his hand for me to grab hold of the blade. I placed my staff down onto the ground and was shocked when it latterly puffed and found its way into a strap that was on my back.

“What was that?” I asked.

“An elves weapon never leaves them. Even if lost it will find its way back to them. There is only one person who can separate an elf from there weapon.” BaelEruil told me.

“Who?” I asked.

“The Queen.” He responded.

I reached out and grabbed the blade from him. I put my sword into a strap that had appeared around my waste like an old western gun holsters.

I held my hand over the chalice and placed the blade into my palm. I closed my first as tight as I could and pulled the blade out of my hand. I could not believe how easy it was. It hurt, a lot but it was easy. My blood quickly over filled my hand and fell out into the chalice. It instantly started to bubble and boil but nothing happened. My blood just continued to boil. I looked over to David. I was scared and it was obvious that he was as well.

A hissing nose started to make its way out of the chalice. None of the others had made a sound. Not even my brothers.

The noise started to get louder and louder until a bright yellow smoke cloud erupted from the chalice.

I felt happy for about a second but as I looked over to BaelEruil and he did not seem to be any less tense.

I could see his friends trying to decide if they should grab me or not. They were staggering back and forth. Looking from one and other.

“Get her human. I am going to take them to see the Queen.” BaelEruil told the other guys.

“Is she in trouble?” David asked.

“I don’t know. It’s for the Queen to decide.
