───── Jennie's POV ─────

We were in the middle of a meeting, speaking with the team in charge of writing lyrics for our songs. They were asking if we wanted any changes. The meeting was expected to take up half our day; the other half was reserved for choreography practice.

"It's really not bad. I actually love what it means," I commented after reading the lyrics.

"I know, right? It's polished, and the meaning is beautiful. I think this one might become my favorite," Rosé agreed, nodding with a bright smile.

"What about the song we made?" I asked, pretending to sulk as I leaned back on my seat, arms crossed dramatically.

"It's the best," Rosé said, laughing as she walked over and wrapped her arms around me in a quick hug.

"Aigoo, these two," Jisoo teased, rolling her eyes playfully. "But yeah, I agree, the meaning behind this one is really beautiful. We should go ahead and make a demo."

"The lyrics feel so much like us. It's literally us in the song," Lisa added with a smile, her eyes still fixed on the paper she was holding.

"That's all? I thought you'd want to change more stuff. Alright then, let's move on to the demo so we can pack up for today," said one of the producers we were working with.

"Err... we still have choreography practice later, oppa," Lisa replied, slightly pouting.

"That's what you get for being so busy,... and for always delaying everything. Now you're all rushing," he joked, shaking his head with a chuckle.

"Global stars, oppa. We're global stars," Lisa quipped, grinning mischievously.

Everyone burst into laughter, and we quickly transitioned into recording a rough demo after listening to the songwriter's guide track.

Everything moved fast, and once we wrapped up, we decided to grab dinner at a restaurant just a short walk from the building. It was a familiar place, the one we used to go to a lot back when we were still trainees.

"I'll go with the usual," Jisoo and I said at the same time, making both of us laugh in sync.

It was just the four of us, our managers were off handling other things, so we had the lunch break to ourselves.

Rosé took charge of ordering for everyone, and while we waited, we naturally slipped into conversation.

"It's Jungkook's birthday tomorrow. So... what's the actual plan?" Lisa whispered, lowering her voice as if someone might overhear, even though no one was seated near us.

"I only know a little, too. That's why we're having a quick recap with the rest of their members later, remember?" Rosé replied.

"A yacht party, right? So that probably means swimming. What about the thing you're hiding?" Jisoo asked, suddenly turning to me with a teasing look.

"We're not required to swim, are we?" Lisa asked innocently, blinking as if she truly didn't see the issue.

"No, but I'm sure there's going to be some pushing, splashing, and all that playful chaos," Rosé said knowingly.

"Just wear a turtleneck dress," Lisa suggested out of nowhere.

Jisoo and Rosé both turned to look at her, their expressions a hilarious mix of disbelief and amusement.

"Lisa-ya, are you serious? Are you okay? You might be starving," Jisoo said dramatically, reaching over to feel Lisa's forehead like a worried mom.

"What? It's a genuine suggestion!" Lisa defended herself, laughing as well.
