19: The Newest Baby

(Y/N), Kitty, Jon, and everyone else have been up for quite some time now, awaiting a doctor to come and tell them all about the newest addition to Craig and Kourtney's life.

"Mommy, I'm tired," (Y/N) whined, crawling into Kitty's lap. "We go home."

"Not yet, princess," Jon said, rubbing circles on (Y/N)'s back. "Hopefully soon."

Everyone was exhausted at this point. After all, it was two in the morning. They've been here since about nine, when Craig called with a voice so frantic he could have been running from a crazed and hungry tiger.

But no, Kourtney was in labor.

Emma was cuddled up against Nogla, who hummed softly to her. Evan, Tyler, and Moo were playing sticks on the floor, since they gave up their seats to some elderly people and some other visitors. Simone had her head on Marcel's shoulder, and Mae hugged Lui's jacket tighter around her, Lui's head in her lap.

Kitty cuddled (Y/N), her legs laying in Jon's lap as their patience ran thinner by the minute.

Finally, a doctor came out, and the waiting room was on edge as he looked around.

"One pairing/family at a time, please," he begged, looking at all the visitors for the newest baby.

"You guys go first," Nogla said to Jon. "This one's asleep."

"Are you sure?" Kitty asked, and the guys nodded.

The family walked into the room, where Craig was cradling a bundle of pink blankets.

He smiled up at Jon, Kitty, and (Y/N), waving them in.

"Hey," he mumbled as they came closer. "How's everyone out there?"

"Tired," Jon said. "Emma fell asleep on Nogla."

Craig chuckled. "Well, I expected someone to conk out."

"She's beautiful," Kitty cooed, her attention on the little baby girl in Craig's arms.

"Wanna hold her?" Craig asked, and Kitty nodded, gently lifting the newborn out of Craig's arms. "Her name is Charlotte Marie."

"Little Lottie," Jon said with a smile, and (Y/N) pouted as she watched her parents coo over another little girl.
