My power went out :( But, despite that, here's an update for you all! Plus, I'm going to be going a little update-crazy on Under the Same Stars, mostly Holiday stuff, so, if you want some X Reader, boy x boy, or girl x girl action, request some!

The morning before Christmas, (Y/N) woke up with excitement coursing through her veins. She ran downstairs to find Kitty getting ready to go to work for the last time until her break.
"Morning, Mommy!" She called, making a beeline towards the kitchen. "Can I have waffles?"
Kitty smiled. "Yeah, sure, sweetheart!"
Kitty got the toaster waffles and set them into the toaster.
"Are you excited for tonight? Christmas movie marathon, pizza for dinner, and we get to decorate the tree tonight after making cookies for Santa!" Kitty exclaimed, and (Y/N) smiled widely, nodding.
"And, when I go to sleep tonight, Santa will come!" (Y/N) exclaimed happily, clapping her hands as the waffles finished.
Kitty grabbed them and put them on a plate, cutting them in half before giving them to (Y/N).
"I gotta go, baby," Kitty said softly, kissing (Y/N)'s head and grabbing her keys. "Tell Daddy when he wakes up that I'll be home around two."
"Okay! Bye Mommy!"

Jon woke up around eleven in the morning, and, for the whole day, (Y/N) and Jon sat around in their pajamas, playing video games and Jon telling stories to (Y/N).
Once Kitty got home at 2:30 p.m., she changed into her pajamas and their movie marathon started, accompanied with hot chocolate and popcorn.
They started with Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, then moved onto Elf. As (Y/N) requested, Big Hero 6 followed, then, a movie Kitty and Jon loved to watch together, The Princess Bride.
"This was the movie your Mommy and I watched on our first date," Jon explained before pressing play.
After all the movies were done and everyone was stuffed with pizza--which was ordered during Big Hero 6--the family moved into the kitchen and began making cookies.
Once the cookies were in the oven, Jon went and got the ornaments from a closet upstairs.
As Kitty tended to the cookies, (Y/N) and Jon started to decorate the tree, Jon wrapping lights around the tree and (Y/N) putting ornaments as high as she could.
Once the cookies were set nicely on a plate, Kitty joined her husband and daughter at the tree, placing ornaments higher and picking up (Y/N) and helping her place ornaments higher.
Lastly, Kitty and Jon placed the ornament they got as a wedding gift on the tree : an ornament of a picture of their wedding.
As 10:00 rolled around, Jon and Kitty realized they kept (Y/N) up long past her bedtime. Jon carried (Y/N) up to her room, tucking her in.
"Goodnight, baby girl," he said softly, kissing her forehead. "Hope you had a fun day."
"I did," she replied, smiling sleepily. "I had so much fun with you and Mommy today."
Jon smiled. "Get some sleep, honey. I love you."
"I love you more, Daddy."

Merry Christmas (Eve) everyone! I'm just gonna say now I hope you all have a merry and safe holidays! I won't be updating until closer to New Years, sorry. I hope you enjoyed this update!

Me: Well, we always watch SNL and, later on, we go to my Grammy's and eat Wawa, which is always fun :)
