She sat up, intrigued by this unknown man's voice.

(Y/N) closed her book and began to nod her head to the beat of the drums and claps.

For the rest of the song, (Y/N) rocked out, jumping all around her room and trying to sing along but ending up murmuring inaudible words, but that didn't diminish her newfound liking towards this band.
After the song finished, she snatched Kitty's iPod off the speaker, running into her parent's room, where Kitty and Jon were getting ready for a date ; Kourtney, Craig, and Lottie were on their way.
"Mommy, Mommy! What band is this? I like them a lot!" (Y/N) exclaimed, playing the song again.
"Ah, Fall Out Boy," Kitty said, amused, as if they were an old memory she was fond of. "They're a great band, and I'm happy you like them."
"Now for the rest of Kitty's bands to sink into her liking," Jon said, and Kitty chuckled, fixing his tie for him. "I'm not complaining, she'll have a good taste in music."
"She sure will," Kitty said, looking at (Y/N), who was rocking out to A Little less Sixteen candles, a little more touch me.
