That's my plan. Pretty good, right? It's bound to work."
Sasuke scoffed. "It's a pathetic idea if you ask me. Kakashi-sensei isn't stupid enough to fall for your tricks."
"Well I never asked you, you stuck-up," I snapped back. "And you just watch him fall for my trick. Then we'll see who's the idiot."
"Naruto I can't believe you," Sakura started, with annoyance in her voice. "We both know that Sasuke is right. I mean, I don't recall him ever being wrong. Especially when it comes to you, Naruto."
"Trust me, once he falls for my trap, and I use my special jutsu on him, he's bound to get caught!" I assured them. "It always works on older men. It's actually kinda scary how much it works."
"A special jutsu?" Sasuke asked, then looked at me with a confused expression. "What type of special jutsu could you possibly pull off?"
"Well obviously my sexy jutsu."
"S-Sexy jutsu??"
"Just watch. Oh, and please try to not interfere while I'm using my jutsu," I warned him. "Believe me, it's the ultimate weapon. Just watch me force him to tell me where he hid those bells and then we'll finish this pathetic training once and for all."
"Well, you sound pretty confident, so it better work, dummy," Sakura said with a smile.
I nodded and smiled. "Right."
I heard a rustling noise from nearby, and we all stiffened. He was coming.
Kakashi's hair was as same as ever, white and messy. Hey, it kinda reminded me of a porcupine. Sorry, off topic. He was wearing the same clothes as he always did since the moment we met him, so it would be a waste to describe them. So on with the story.
"Hmm, I wonder where they're hiding," Kakashi mumbled to himself.
He continued to walk to the left, which was unfortunate since the trap was to the right. I bit my lip.
"Come on, Kakashi," I thought to myself. "Just walk a little more to the right."
Kakashi walked in the direction towards where we were hiding and my heart rate started increasing rapidly. I will not let myself fail this training!
"I found you," Kakashi said as he rustled in the leaves of the bushes we were hiding in.
"Oh no you don't!" I exclaimed, then made a hand sign. "Shadow clone jutsu!"
Immediately a bunch of handsome Narutos appeared next to us, and then I stood up and did another hand sign. "Harem jutsu!"
All of the Nartuo clones including me turned into a group of indecent females, to say the least. Surprisingly, my emotionless sensei blushed but obviously held back a bloody nose as he averted his eyes. For a second there I could have sworn I saw Sasuke avert his eyes too.
"Naruto!! This jutsu of yours won't work on me. Who do you think you're dealing with?"
"But Kakashi-sensei..," I said, my voice sounding extremely girly. " I just wanted to tell you how handsome you are."
I made one of my clones hug him, and immediately he had a major nosebleed. His cheeks turned a dangerous shade of crimson.
"Kakashi-sensei, did you hide the bells near the entrance to the leaf village?" I made the clone ask him.
"Naruto, I won't fall for this!!!" Kakashi stated.
"Oh you're such a softie, sensei," another clone said as it hugged him. "Do we need more clones? How many would you like?"
"Stop this, Naruto!! And I thought you matured!"
"That hurts, sensei," I said in my clones girly voice. "Can't you see that I'm much taller now? How about we make a deal?"
"What type of deal?"
"If you tell me where the bells are, I'll leave you alone," I offered him, "Or, I'll continue to summon clones if you want. Just tell us where the bells are."
Kakashi hesitated, but then he sighed. "I can't believe I'm falling for this."
I smirked and looked towards Sasuke and Sakura. I couldn't tell if Sasuke and Sakura were disturbed or embarrassed, but I didn't care.
"They're inside the Hokage's room, on her desk."
I looked at Sakura. "Is he lying, Sakura?"
Sakura looked at Kakashi's expression, studying his face closely. "As far as I can tell... Yes, he's lying."
Kakashi's eyes widened in shock, and then he smirked.
"As much as I hate to admit at a time like this, you've grown better at telling apart a truth from a lie, Sakura. I'm quite impressed."
"Oh, sensei, I'm tired of playing games. Will you participate in the deal, or do you want me to summon my top secret swimsuit edition clones?" I asked him, starting to get impatient.
"S-Swimsuit edition??" Kakashi asked. "I can't believe this... I give up. I might die of blood loss if I don't. It's next to the entrance to the leaf village, just like you thought."
Sakura smiled. "Smart choice, sensei. He isn't lying."
I smiled. "Alright then, sensei. Have fun with the clones!! Make sure he doesn't escape, guys!!"
The clones nodded, then surrounded him. The three of us began to run away, leaving the clones behind with Kakashi.
"NARUTO!! THIS WASN'T PART OF THE DEAL!!" Kakashi yelled from behind us.
"Sorry sensei! It was, but I just forgot to mention it!!!" I yelled back.
I turned back into my regular self and chuckled. "How was that for a plan, Sasuke?"
Sasuke chuckled. "Very immature and highly perverted. To tell you the truth, I didn't think Kakashi-sensei would actually fall for it, but it did work. That's probably because you got lucky this time, idiot."
I chuckled. "Keep on telling yourself that."
We saw the entrance up ahead, and ran a little faster.
"There! The bells are right there, Naruto!" Sakura exclaimed and pointed to a nearby tree with two small bells jingling. Sasuke ran up and yanked it down from the branch it was dangling on and smiled.
"There, see! I told you we would get the bells!"
"What about Kakashi-sensei? Shouldn't we let him go now?" Sakura asked.
"Well we can't just leave him with a bunch of female Narutos," Sasuke admitted.
"Right."
We turned around and began to run back, but our running came to an abrupt stop when we saw that our sensei escaped the trap. I might have been amazed, but he was all tired out and blood streamed down his face, clearly from his nose.
"So you escaped my trap," I noted. "How did we do? We finished this training, right?"
Kakashi wiped away the blood from his nose. " Very tricky, Naruto. You all still need to learn to conceal your presence when trying to attack an enemy, or even hide. Your teamwork seems to have improved a bit, but from what I heard, Sasuke and Sakura doubted you. Also, try to avoid any negotiations between the enemy and yourself, not saying I didn't appreciate the negotiation you offered me. In any case, good job. You've all seemed to have improved. Naruto, you didn't change a bit in terms of your strategy since the last time we did this training. Sasuke, you're the same as ever. I see you got taller, but that doesn't really count. Sakura, good job with detecting lies. Now that we finished this training, the Hokage asked me to give you a B-ranked mission."
"What is this mission?" Sasuke asked curiously.
"Near the Land of Frogs, there's an abandoned mansion. According to the Land of Frogs legend, every one who had tried to enter the mansion for whatever reason was never heard from again. This made the villagers assume that the mansion is haunted, and they're afraid that the spirits from the mansion will come after them. So, your mission is to stay at the mansion for three days and find out if it's haunted or not, and if it's not then find out who is behind the stories. Simple enough. I won't be able to join you with this mission, since I have other tasks to attend to. This shouldn't be too hard, even for you guys."
"So let me get this straight," I started, " so I'm supposed to go and stay at a haunted house for three days straight, and make sure there are no ghosts or evil spirits haunting the place. And on top of that, I have to find the victims that the ghosts murdered???"
Sasuke rolled his eyes. "Don't tell me you're scared. In case you forgot, there's no way ghosts are real."
"Yeah Naruto, Sasuke is right. The chances of their actually being a ghost are slim. Don't tell me you still have that fear of ghosts," Sakura said and then sighed when she noticed I didn't reply.
"Come on, it can't just be me!!" I claimed. "You have to be even a little bit scared of ghosts!! I mean, if you run into one, it can't die. And they have creepy faces!!!"
"Naruto, I think you watched too much television last night," Kakashi admitted. "And no, you're incorrect. It's not just you who's going to stay at the mansion for three days, it's you and your team. I want you all to split into groups of two while you're there. It'll make things easier with the search. And-"
"But sensei," Sakura interrupted," how can we have groups of two? I mean, Sasuke and I can work together, but Naruto would be alone."
I flinched.
"Don't go making plans for me," Sasuke mumbled. "Let Kakashi-sensei finish taking, then ask questions."
Sakura looked hurt, but she nodded. "Right."
"As I was saying," Kakashi continued,"there is going to be one more who is joining your group for this mission. They seemed quite determined to want to join. You might already know them as-"
"Who is it?!?!?" I asked in excitement, interrupting Kakashi. "Let me guess- Rock Lee! No wait, he's too busy....."
"-Hinata Hyuga," Kakashi finished.
Sakura looked surprised. "Hinata? I would have never guessed."
"You're going to go on the mission in about two hours. Well, I guess I should let you all get packed and ready. Good luck with the mission. And now if you'll excuse me, I have some information I need to receive," Kakashi said quickly, then disappeared.
I sighed. I guess there is no way I'm going to be able to get myself out of this.
"How about we all go to Ichiraku's and go eat some ramen before this mission??" I offered.
"Good idea," Sasuke admitted, "but Ichiraku is closed for the week."
"WHAT?!?!" I exclaimed.
"Well at my house I have all the ingredients to make ramen," Sakura admitted. "I'm just not so good at making it."
I sighed.
"Actually," Sasuke started, then when I looked at him I noticed him blush a bit. "I'm kinda good at making ramen. I just don't have all the equipment."
I smiled. "Well what do you know? Sasuke actually has a cooking side."
"Shut up, you idiot."
Sakura smiled. "How about we all pack and come over my house? Then, Sasuke can make ramen and we can eat. I'll invite Hinata too."
"Sounds like a plan," I decided.
"Whatever."
"All right then," Sakura nodded. "So I'll see you two in thirty minutes."
"You bet."
