Friends or Enemies

Anna's POV 

"Can I take you out tonight?" Ben asked me nervously running a hand through his short brown hair and staring at his feet.

I looked up from the empty coffee cups that I was about to pick up and smiled.

"Of course you can Ben!" 

He beamed and hurried out the door before stopping in his tracks and turning to look back at me.

"I will pick you up at seven pm tonight, see you then!" 

I watched him walk off and the door clicked behind him.

 We arrive at the restaurant on time and Ben is all dressed up smartly in a suit and tie, he looks quite cute and I am beginning to wonder if he is a better catch when I suddenly spot sight of Abi and Si and my heart is beating so fast it's a miracle it hasn't burst out of me yet.

How gross seeing them two together. Fake! He obviously does not love her, he only wants to make me jealous because he knew that another guy had asked me out.

How sweet though.

His jealously and insecurity made me feel all nice and warm on the inside.

Si made my heart melt especially when he was looking at me over her shoulder and smiling so adoringly at me when she thought it was her that he was gazing at. Ha Ha. What a loser.

The moment we entered that restaurant and I spotted her I knew it was going to be so much fun, the look of shock on her face really made my day.

"Hi Abi!" 

She gave me the most filthiest look that not even a pig would deserve but hey it was no skin off my nose when I knew that it was her that was going to get destroyed over and not me.

Poor girl.

She was going to be so devastated.

So hurt.

So upset.

So depressed and down in the dumps.

But did I really care?

Hmmmm let me just think about that one!

No. No .No and definately No.

If Abi deserved anything from me then sympathy and pity was certainly not what it was going to be.

She was only getting what she deserved anyway so tough luck really.

"What the hell is she doing here?" I heard her hiss at poor Si who just led her away and left me and my date to it.

I made sure I had made the best effort with myself that day, I wanted them both to see me at my best especially Si.

His eyes looked as if they were going to pop out of their sockets when he caught sight of me in my little white dress, my hair curled and make up all done, not to mention my heels giving me that long leg effect that drove men crazy.

I was satisfied that I had caught his attention and doubted that I was going to be wiped from his mind anytime soon.

"So I am so glad that you agreed to come out on this date with me." Ben smiled sheepishly at me and I smiled back at him thinking to myself urgh what a desperate loser. So off putting!

"Aww me too!" I reassured him squeezing his hand gently over the table because I knew Si was watching our every move. I played it to by rubbing my long smooth leg against Ben and cuddling up to him with a flirty smile on my face. Kissing him on the cheek and then going for it and totally blowing him away with a passionate kiss.

Ben was all hot and bothered by the time we came up for air a few minutes later but I just smiled at him with a teasing glint in my eyes. Enjoying every minute of knowing how jealous Si must have been feeling and daring to glance over at him I knew I was right. Glaring back at me crossly he shook his head and turned away from me.
