Friends or Enemies

Abi's POV 

I think I am going to die of excitement in the next five minutes. 

Si has taken me to an expensive restaurant in town for dinner. Just the two of us. I am so happy.

"Abi!" A familiar voice called out to me.

I spun round and my mouth fell open in shock.

Standing just a few feet away dressed up like a dog's dinner and smiling from ear to ear with some guy I recognised from school, she waved at me.

It was Anna.

Si took my hand and tried to lead me away from her but I wasn't happy. 

What the hell was she doing here and more to the point how did she know we were coming here? 

"What the hell is she doing here?" I looked at him with accusing eyes.

He just shrugged his shoulders and carried on looking at the menu in front of him whilst sipping away on his drink.

I looked back towards where Anna had been standing with her date, she was still standing there staring at us with a horrible big smug look on her face.

Looking away I decided that there was no way, absolutely no way that she was going to ruin my evening out with my boyfriend.

The jealous maninipulative cow!

"Can I take your order?" A waiter appeared at our table smiling politely.

I pushed all thoughts of her to the back of my mind and chose my order carefully not realising how hungry I actually was.

"You look lovely tonight!" Si told me as our food finally arrived.

I smiled at him.

"Don't I normally then?" I teased him.

He beamed at me and squeezed my hand gently over the table.

"You know I love you!" he said and I nodded. I did know that he loved me and only me but hearing him say it was always a nice feeling 

I just couldn't help thinking and wondering why she had to be here to out of all the places in town to go. Why here!

She was such a copycat!

Anna's POV 

"Can I take you out tonight?" Ben asked me nervously running a hand through his short brown hair and staring at his feet.

I looked up from the empty coffee cups that I was about to pick up and smiled.

"Of course you can Ben!" 

He beamed and hurried out the door before stopping in his tracks and turning to look back at me.

"I will pick you up at seven pm tonight, see you then!" 

I watched him walk off and the door clicked behind him.

How gross seeing them two together. Fake! He obviously does not love her, he only wants to make me jealous because he knew that another guy had asked me out.

How sweet though.

His jealously and insecurity made me feel all nice and warm on the inside.

Si made my heart melt especially when he was looking at me over her shoulder and smiling so adoringly at me when she thought it was her that he was gazing at. Ha Ha. What a loser.

The moment we entered that restaurant and I spotted her I knew it was going to be so much fun, the look of shock on her face really made my day.

"Hi Abi!" 

She gave me the most filthiest look that not even a pig would deserve but hey it was no skin off my nose when I knew that it was her that was going to get destroyed over and not me.

Poor girl.

She was going to be so devastated.

So hurt.

So upset.

So depressed and down in the dumps.

But did I really care?

Hmmmm let me just think about that one!

No. No .No and definately No.

If Abi deserved anything from me then sympathy and pity was certainly not what it was going to be.

She was only getting what she deserved anyway so tough luck really.

"What the hell is she doing here?" I heard her hiss at poor Si who just led her away and left me and my date to it.

I made sure I had made the best effort with myself that day, I wanted them both to see me at my best especially Si.

His eyes looked as if they were going to pop out of their sockets when he caught sight of me in my little white dress, my hair curled and make up all done, not to mention my heels giving me that long leg effect that drove men crazy.
