Friends or Enemies

Anna's POV

LATE!! 

I am going to be so dead.

The bus is really slow today, I looked at my watch and sighed heavily wishing that I was at work already. Being late was not a good idea especially if the boss Diana was in a bad mood.

It was already nearly nine o'clock by the time I got into work, an hour late and I was knackered already. And to top it off there was Abi, already there busy away serving customers and clearing tables ready for new customers. As soon as she spotted me she gave me the most evil look you could imagine. It hurt to see her be like that with me but she was just a misreable cow in a sulk because her boyfriend was cheating on her with me. I wondered if she knew I had been there yesterday before she got there kissing her boyfriend making him all hot and sweaty after he had walked out the shower. 

I smiled to myself at the memory of him all over me, if only she had seen it.My life would have been so much easier. That smug smile on her face would be wiped off in seconds.

"Anna why are you late once again?" Diana bellowed appearing at my side.

Here we go I thought.

"Sorry the bus was late." I told her irratated that she had spoken so loudly for everybody to hear. How embarrassing. 

She had a face of thunder but a group of people came in and distracted her, she sauntered off to serve them and left me to finish sorting myself out.

"Hi, how can I help you?" I smiled at a waiting customer and tried to get on without seeing Abi's annoying smile look. 

It was only a matter of time before that girl had that smug look wiped off her face and she was going to regret it.
