—(Just like the old days)
: Date part 2 💞MINJI POV
I parked the car nearby. Hanni looks at the place and smirks as she looks at me. I raised one of my eyebrows acting so innocent, well this is really my plan.
"You're really going to make up for me. Just like the old day huh? Carnival?" She playfully said and got out first before I followed. We were now walking while holding our hands together.
"When I came here with you, I felt so nervous and awkward at the same time. You were so quiet but cute also." She giggled as she talked about the day we hung out. I laughed softly.
"You know that I spent almost half of an hour looking at my mirror asking myself if I'm wearing a good shirt and the possibilities of what would happen that day." I stopped and she looked at me. I smiled then continued.
"I was scared that you may find out my feelings and our day would be ruined. I was really afraid of that time." I almost whispered it but she was still able to hear it.
"Minji, whatever happened in the past, is in the past. Yes, we made mistakes but the thing is that we accept it and we learned from it. It doesn't matter what you did or I did. The important part is that you're here with me, right here beside me." I almost melted and saw her smiling.
"I'm so lucky to have you", "Same Minji, I'm lucky to be with you, everyday." She tightly hold my hand as if telling me that everything is real. If I'm still being delusional it's okay 'cause Hanni is right. The important thing is we're together now.
"Okay! So enough and let's think of what we're going to do, here in the Carnival!!!" She said that it me chuckled. She even did a little jump while dragging me to the first destination.
"Oh! How about those Ring Toss Games! Over there!" Hanni slapped my shoulder and quickly ran to the spot. I couldn't hide my happiness and just followed her. When I went there, she was already talking to the owner and the lady gave her five rings for her to toss to a bottle can and she first started.
"You sure know how to play this one—", "Shh the pro is playing.." I nodded and put my hands up teasingly.
She slowly put her concentration on the game and after a second she finally tossed it. I laughed harder when the first ring didn't go in. She pouted.
"Hey! Did I tell you to laugh?!!" She almost said it with madness and I even laughed harder. She sighed and just continued to play. After some time, it ended. She didn't get any and was in a bad mood now.
"Alright, no need to pout like a duck, it's just a game Hanni we can still try another one." I gently grabbed her hand and intertwined it. She took a deep breath before smiling again. Okay! Where should we head next?
We spent almost half a day in this Carnival, I might say—this is the best day of my life. Without regret and secrets that we're hiding. Now, we're here at the small photo booth where Hanni was trying to find the right pose. I can tell she's taking this seriously. I could just sit here watching her being so cute!
"Min!!! That's not the right pose!!"
"Ugh! You're so stiff!!"
"Really?? That's really common!! Something different please?"
"This isn't getting better."
In the last picture, it was counting. She was furrowing her eyebrows and I know she's running out of pose ideas. I chuckled and she glanced at me mad. I smiled and slowly kissed her cheeks and she giggled; that's when the camera captured us. After that we get out of the small photo booth and just patiently wait for the strip polaroid to be printed out.
"Oh! Oh! Look at this!! Haha!" she cutely said and even showed me. I smiled even more. The first one was blurry as we were still thinking about the post and the second wasn't even better—but not bad either...it was comforting.
She was glaring at me while I was laughing at her. The third one, I was pinching her nose while she just smiled.
"We look so happy." I whispered and Hanni titled her head curious as what I said. I glanced at the last polaroid and stroked the soft polaroid. It was perfect. She was glowing.
"It's beautiful Hanni, really really beautiful." I said but this time I wasn't looking at the polaroid but to her. Her smile even shined more. I'm falling even harder and I won't deny it. Never in a thousand years. She hugged me and said.
"Thank you."

It's almost night and I wanted for us to try the Ferris Wheel again. I cleared my throat as we were walking while looking for the game booth. She slowly looked at me and I pointed at the ferris wheel. She smirked and didn't waste time dragging me.
"You can go now! Enjoy!!" The lady closed the ride and my heart was beating loudly more than before. This time—it was only us. We were in front of each other. Looking at each other.
"Every single day I wouldn't get tired of you Minji. Every memory that we will make, I wanted this to stay forever just like the old days." After that she chuckled and I did too. After a minute, we were now at the top and I could already see the whole booth carnival. This is the best.
The city lights were amazing too as Hanni was amazed by the buildings underneath us.
"I love to always be with you Hanni." I said while she shifted her attention to mine. This time, we didn't speak. We share eye contact and know what will happen next. I would never refuse. I slowly leaned it and successfully kissed her. Right timing, big fireworks pop out making the scene more romantic.
We both laughed and took our time to enjoy the view. There's nothing I would wish for. Everything that I have now is enough. Everything is perfect. Especially that she's here now.
Hanni is now with me.
