chapter twenty six

— In which Minji and Hanni
spends time together!!

MINJI

After placing the donuts on the dinner table, I glanced at Hanni who's taking care of the flowers and placing two inside a jar that's filled with water before smiling.

They way her hair was tied into a messy low pony tail made me flushed. She's cute and will always be cute.

I then open the box and called for her to come and sit to eat.

"HanHan? Let's eat first!" I smiled and Hanni showed up with her hair down now.

"I want the strawberry flavored one." She giggled before sitting beside me and eating the donut she had pick.

"So, tell me about the places you've visited." Hanni said, her mouth filled with strawberry glaze.

"I saw a really good restaurant there and they serve the best dessert. I remember you love it so I'll take you there soon." I smiled, lifting my fingers to wipe the sugary liquid off her lips.

"Wow, this donuts are really good!" Hanni compliments, her brows furrowed while her eyes was stayed on the soft dessert.

I just laughed. She really do love it. I'm glad I bought a box. I then just stare at her while she eats her food. How I love this girl. My hand just acted on its own when it was placed on top of her head, slowly patting her.

"I'm so glad you're my girlfriend." I whispered and saw how she turns to me and look me in the eye, confused but still grateful.

"I never thought I would be able to date and love like this." I continued while my fingers brushed her hair.

"Why? Aren't you allowed to date?" Hanni asked, her hands reaching for the donuts.

"I am but most of the fans won't allow it.  We were told that we can't date nor have a public relationship because it would cause our career to go down. And as a rising artist back then I believed it." I expressed, pushing the box near her so that she would easily get it.

"That's cruel. Really." Hanni sighed, thanking me after realizing what I've done.

I just chuckled and placed my knuckles under my side jaw so that I could stare at her all day.

"But I'm not scares anymore. Because I already find the girl worth fighting for. You are the girl I always dreamed of pursuing. I think the past Minji would've loved you." I snickered, while Hanni just smiled.

But then she pouted. "What? So the present and future Minji wouldn't love me?" She asked which made me surprised and leaded me to burst out laughing.

"Dummy." I lean closer. "Of course I love you. No matter what happens- I will always love you Hanni." I smiled and she just blushed under my stare.

I noticed her getting nervous so I just chuckled and finished the last donut before heading towards the living room with Hanni holding my hand.

"Let's watch some horror movie! I want to stay with you!" Hanni suggested and I just followed her.

It was already close to seven and we decided to sat on the couch with our body closed to each other.
