Perhaps it was in the way she talked. Or maybe it was the way she walked. Or it could be the way she acts, so careless and free. Whatever it was, Dallas found himself craving more. Found himself craving her. Found himself getting jealous when she was around other people.

He'd never admit it but he was falling for the girl. The girl who was only 14 and could never be his. The girl who dyed her hair at least 4 times a year. The girl who, despite being so young, was so careless and free and confident. The girl who's green eyes constantly shined. The girl who' smile never seemed to leave her lips. The girl who would bite her lip when she got excited. The girl who could brighten anyone's day just by looking at them. The girl who made horrible jokes that still made him laugh, despite that they were so bad. The girl who he could always talk to and confide in because she knew how to keep a secret. And the girl he had pressed against the wall, lips on his own, eyes closed, legs around his waist, arms around his neck, kissing her with so much love that it was physically hurting.

He made sure to control every sexual urge he had right now. He controlled himself and kissed her slowly.

Dallas could feel himself losing control so he moved his lips from hers. The younger girl dropped to the floor. Dallas dropped his gaze to his feet. For once, Dallas was embarrassed. He was embarrassed that he'd kissed her. He was embarrassed that he let his guard down. He was just embarrassed.

"I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't of done that." Dallas said. Of course he shouldn't have. He never should've stayed here with her in the first place. He should've gone out and found some broad to take his mind off of her for a few minutes. But he was whipped. So, when she asked him to stay, he didn't think twice.

"Its, um, its fine. Really." She answered. She wouldn't look at him. She was looking at everything but him. Everywhere but him.

"Kayla, look at me." Dallas whispered. The shorter girl ignored him and looked everywhere except him. Dallas sighed loudly. Kayla bit her lip, stole a glance of the older boy, and then stared at the wall behind him.

"D-Dallas, why'd you do that?" She asked. The older boy looked at her like she was crazy. He contemplated telling her that he was 100 percent absolutely undoubtedly in love with her. He knew that things would change but he didn't know if it would be for the better or worse though. And he decided he was not willing to take that chance.

"I just...figured it'd keep you busy for a couple minutes." He said. The girl seemed to sadden a bit as she frowned.

"Oh. Well, I'm gonna go to my room." She said and slowly, very slowly, walked away without another word.

Dallas stood there confused and beating himself up. He kept repeating to himself, asking himself why. Why didn't he just tell her? Why did he hurt her? Why was she so sad about it? Why couldn't he admit that he loved her? Why did it hurt him so much? Why didn't he just tell her that he loved her?

He couldn't figure it out. Whether it was her talk, walk, attitude, or what. Dallas loved it. He couldn't get enough of it. He wanted to be around it all the time. Oh yeah, he was a goner.

Whatever it was, Dallas couldn't get enough of it.
