Rocky

"I can't believe she fell asleep!" I laughed.

I was over at my best friend Rocky's house. Rocky and I, plus his brothers and sister, Ross, Rydel, Ryland, and Riker, and our friend Ratliff, were having our monthly movie night!

It was about midnight and we had just finished the first movie, TED. Rydel had chosen the movie, and she was already asleep!

"Hey, I have an idea." Ross whispered.

"What?" We all asked.

"Let's go swimming!"

We all agreed and went to change. I borrowed one of Rydel's bikinis because she was my best friend and I didn't have one with me.

I walked out and the boys were already in the pool doing flips off the diving board. Everyone except for Rocky... Just as I was about to look for him, I fell into the pool!

Wait... I didn't fall.

"ROCKY!" I screamed quietly.

He laughed as he jumped in next to me, splashing me in all directions.

"Your gonna get it" I said jumping on his back.

"Woah!" He said surprised. I don't think he heard me.

Just then, Ross came up on Riker's shoulders.

"Your on." I smiled.

I climbed up on Rocky's shoulders and started to attempt to get Ross off of Riker's. we always played this game.

After about a minute probably, I pushed Ross backwards, his falling over and losing.

But as I did so, I also fell backwards!

I fell into the pool with a splash.

I swam over to the side and sat down, with my feet dangling in.

"Hey, are you okay?" Rocky came over to me.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I laughed.

Rocky got out and started over to the small diving board.

All I could think about was how much I liked him. But he only thought of me as his friend. Sure, his best friend, but still, nothing more. I know that. I wish he knew how much I liked him, how amazing I thought he was.

Rocky did a flip and landed in the pool, pulling me out of my thoughts.

Just then, he came up to me and pulled me into the water without warning. I started to move around trying to get back up but something was keeping me down.

I opened my eyes a little and saw Rocky kneeling below me in the water.

I looked down at him and smiled.

He got closer... And closer... If he wasn't my best friend, I would be sure he was going to kiss me. But that would never happen.

But, I guess life surprises you sometimes. Because at that moment, Rocky placed his lips on mine. I was so shocked, that I just stood there, not doing anything. Man was I an idiot. I could've at least kissed back.

I came up for air, because we were under the water, a second after he pulled his lips away. The second he came up, he looked so sad it was painful for me to just watch.

"I am so sorry. You are just so pretty, and I've liked you for such a long time, but I know you think of me as just a friend." He stopped, realizing what he just admitted. I saw his eyes become shinier, revealing that there were tears forming.

He got out of the pool, and started to walk away. But before he could, I jumped up and ran over to him, kissing him like there wasn't a care in the world. Because, right now, there wasn't one.

"I have always loved you Rocky. I never knew you felt the same way. That's why I never told you." I said, pulling away, looking at the ground embarrassed.

"I love you Y/N." he smiled bringing my head up with his finger. I blushed.

Just then, I heard something.

"Real Mature, guys." I smirked as I looked over at his brothers and Ratliff making kissy noises, and going "ooooooh!"

"Y/N, will you be my girlfriend?" Rocky said, as I looked away from the boys.

"What took you so long?" I said as I pulled him into a short and sweet kiss.

Just then, I heard footsteps coming from inside. The feet were wearing Hello Kitty slippers...

"God, you fall asleep for 20 minutes..." Rydel laughed.
