A/N. Wrote this out of boredom. Sorry if it sucks.

"Hey.. it's that new kid." Your friend nudges your side.

"Oh yeah. What's his name?" you ask, pulling a beanie over your messy hair that you didn't bother doing this morning.

"Ross I think. He's cute." She responds.

"Yeah, he is." You agree with her, taking your books out of your locker. "C'mon, i'm gonna be late to bio."

Just then, the new kid, or Ross I guess, walks up to you, and you look around seeing everyone else cleared out. The bell would ring soon.

"Do you know where Biology is?" he asks you both, but keeps his gaze on you.

"Yeah, I'm headed there now.." you smile up at him. Man he was tall.

"Seeya later." You turn to your friend before leading him to class.

You look around and see two empty seats in the back of the class.

Ross looked pretty intimidated, it was a big class filled with people he'd never met.

"C'mon, you can sit with me." You whisper to him, walking back to the empty desks. He follows you, taking a seat. You guys work for a while until your teacher steps into the hallway to talk to someone. You gutsy started talking, and you had determined he was pretty cool.

It isn't even 2 minutes before one of the most popular, not to mention bitchiest girls in school comes walking over.

"Hey cutie." she smiles at him, sitting on his desk. He just looks up at her, confused. "Oh, hey.. what's your name again?" she smirks, turning towards you.

"Y/N. known you since 1st grade." You give her a flat look before turning away. She turns back to Ross.

"So cutie, what are you doing, sitting here with that?" she points at you.

He looks up at her, with an annoyed look on her face.

"She has a name. and I WAS enjoying myself. Not so much anymore. So if you would please leave her alone." you heard his words and started blushing slightly.

She scoffed and walks away, most likely to complain to her little minions who pretended to care.

"Um.. thanks for doing that. You really didn't have to. I'm used to it." You tell him.

"Anytime. You shouldn't be used to that." he smiles at you, causing you to blush again.

Soon enough the bell rings again, and you guys go to your lockers, which happen to be next to each other.

"Thanks again for earlier." You say. "You're really sweet."

"Why thank you." He pulls his head out of his locker.

~ 3 days later ~

Ross and I have a lot of classes together, and we have tons in common! im not gonna lie, I have a tiny crush on him..

"You wanna sit with us at lunch again?" you ask him, putting stuff in your locker so you can go eat.

"Sounds great." He smiles and follows the crowd of kids down the hallway.

You guys had sat down and begun eating and talking for a few minutes with your friends.

"That's hilarious!" you start to laugh at a story he had told, and accidentally swipe your hand through your food. "I'm gonna go get a napkin, hold on." As you walk, you cringe as you pass the 'popular table.' The table where the girl who hit on Ross sits. You walk past as fast as you can, but not fast enough.

Without you noticing, she stuck her foot in the small space, causing you to trip and, of course, smack your head on the hardwood floor.

You start to get dizzy, but can make out her and her friend laughing and high-fiving. Then you hear someone yell.

"Y/N!!" It was Ross. He ran over to you, picking your head up, checking you over. "Y/N are you alright?"

You can barely make your words anymore, but muster out a few.

"Head. Hurts. Blurry..." And with that, he picks you up bridal style and carries you to the nurse.

But before he does, he turns to the popular table, particularly the girl who tripped you.

"Listen. You really think it's okay to do this to her, because ONE person doesn't like you?! Get over yourself, grow up!!" A few people started clapping actually, but he just ran into the nurse.

He lays you down on one of the small beds, telling the nurse what had happened without naming names. "She tripped and fell.."

"Alright, you can go back to lunch. Thanks for bringing her." She smiles at him.

"No, I'm staying." He tells her, taking a seat next to you. "I'm not going anywhere." He whispers in your ear with a smile.

~ small time lapse ~

"Well it doesn't look like any permanent damage, but keep an eye on it. I would definitely lay down for the next period or so." She tells you. "And I guess you can stay too, to keep her company." Ross smiles as she motions to him.

With that, she walks back into the main area of the office.

"Ross, you don't have to sta-"

"I want to." he cuts you off.

You blush again, and for once he notices. He takes that as an opportunity. You look up and your eyes meet.

He leans forward slowly, so you can back away if you want to. But you don't, and he takes that as a signal. He gently places his lips on yours, and you get butterflies in your stomach, feeling crazy sparks.

After a few seconds, he pulls away, flashing you a smile of satisfaction.

"Y/N.. I've only known you for a few days, but um.. will you-"

"Yes." you cut him off.

"What?"

" I said yes."

He lights up, wanting to pick you up and spin you around, but obviously not doing so because you would probably faint.

"What a happy ending to this godawful day." You smile.

"Tell me about it." He responds. "But don't worry, this isn't the ending."

and then you feel his lips on yours again.
