Ross/Kaylyn

"Hey Kaylyn."

"What?"

"Lets go out tonight. Just for fun."

"Sounds Great!"

I was over at my boyfriend of two months, Ross' house watching TV and eating lunch.

"So, where to?" I asked.

"Well, that's a surprise." he smiled.

"You know I hate surprises!" I whined.

"Well I know you'll love this one." he took one of the cupcakes his mom made off the center of the table and smashed it into my nose.

"YOU. ARE. GOING. TO. GET. IT." I said in the most serious voice possible. He actually looked kind of scared! I took a cupcake a wiped the frosting all in his hair.

"Whoops." I laughed so hard. He started tickling me and then we had a cupcake war!

It was 20 minutes before Ross was picking me up for our surprise date. After I drove home and took a shower to get all of the frosting off of me.

and I put my hair in a upside down French braided bun.

With the help of Rydel of course. She always helps me get ready for dates!

Rydel was just finishing my makeup when someone walked inside, obviously being Ross. I grabbed my bag and walked out to him, Rydel not far behind.

"You ready, gorgeous?" he smiled, taking my hand.

"You bet!" I replied, handing Rydel my key so she could stay here until I got back. We'd done it plenty of times.

"See you later." I smiled, heading out the door with Ross.

"Are we there yet?!" I asked, curious.

"Yes, we're finally here." Ross smiled, pulling into a parking spot.

"Oh My God YAY!!!" I shouted.

"I heard you talking with Rydel this morning so I couldn't resist." He took my hand.

We were at the boardwalk fair. Something I've always wanted to go to! We started walking in and headed towards a food stand.

"Large lemonade please." Ross said to the guy at the stand.

"Oh I LOVE carnival lemonade!!" I smiled.

"I know." He answered.

"We'll I know I have the best boyfriend in the whole wide world." I kissed his cheek.

After we went around and played some games and rode some rides, we got a little tired.

Now we were walking along the beach, hand in hand, the sun just setting.

It was so cliche. Like something out of a movie.

"I can't believe you did that!" I laughed as Ross finished telling me about stuff he used to do with Riker as kids.

"Hey, Kaylyn?" He asked.

"Hmm?"

"You know I Love You, right?"

It was the first time he'd said it without being 'Luv Ya' or 'Lub You'.

"Ross... I love you too. More than anything." I answered inching closer to him.

"Well good, because I thought I'd get you this." He smiled, pulling out a little box. He told me to turn around so I did.

"Ross... It's beautiful" he smiled.

He had gotten me a silver necklace in the shape of an infinity symbol. It had my name looped into it in cursive. It was amazing.

I flipped It over and I saw in small little letters engraved on the side.

'I Love You. -Ross'

Simple as that. Yet I knew I wanted to spend my life with him. For infinity.
