Demi.

The next morning woke up in my bed. Joe and I had a great foreplay. He was great and gentle. I couldn't believe he was so opened with me about his past. I felt bad so I let him do whatever... I was just hoping it was sex. It felt amazing.

I got out of bed, getting a good whiff of cooked food. I adjusted my clothes and headed downstairs. "Good morning, Demi. Sleep well?" Marie poured me some orange juice. "Yeah, I did. Thanks." I grabbed a plate and placed some food on my plate.

I went over to the table with the boys. I glanced over at Joe. He gave me a wink and I felt my cheeks get hot. I sat down next to Tyler. "Don't forget that Miley is picking you up at 12. You guys need to be back here at 5 so we can drive to the next destination." Nick sipped his orange juice.

I nodded my head. I kept wondering if Joe and I were together or not or if the boys knew about us.

After breakfast, I got ready for my hang out with Miley. I didn't have my clothes so I had to borrow some of Marie's clothes.

I tied my hair up and went downstairs. "Finally." Miley looked different than she did last night. Her hair was longer. "Sorry.." I went outside with her. We got in the car and she drove off in silence. "Why does you hair look so...different?"

"How does it look different, bitch?" I was a bit taken back.

"It's longer?" I looked out the window. I made things awkward between us and we were going to be friends. Great. "It's a wig, stupid." she chuckled.

"Do you want to go shopping or get you hair done first?" She stopped at a light. "Shopping first.."

"Okay." she drove to some store. She knew her way around New York.

She pulled into a parking lot for this store that didn't look like me by the mannequins. "What kind of store is this?" I got out of the car. "A store that will give you a style that the boys look for." I was confused on what she meant by that, but I didn't ask any further questions.

She threw clothes at me to try on. I went to the dressing room to try on the clothes she picked out for me. The clothes weren't my style nor would my family approve. They had words on it and some holes in them. I felt a bit giddy.

Miley bought the clothes that i wanted and liked. Next, we were off to get my hair done. It was the most nervous thing I have done. I was scared what Miley wanted to do with my hair.

They stylist layered it and fixed up my sidebangs. Miley made them color my hair blonde. I never wanted to be a blonde, but I didn't have a choice. It was like a dark blonde which I could handle.

We got in Miley's car and went to lunch, where I changed into some new clothes in their bathroom. We ate at some burger joint in New York. "I have a question...so you know the brothers well?" I took a bite of my burger.

"Ever since Marie took them. Why?" she sipped her coke cola.

"Um..well..Joe and I kissed last night." I played with my fries. Miley just giggled at me. "That doesn't mean anything to the boys, definitely when they run away. Nick and Joe aren't the relationship. I advise you not to get close to one of them. They will not keep a girl and they like commitment."

I looked down at my plate, feeling disappointment. I thought last night meant something. I guess not.

After lunch, Miley drove me back to Marie's. The boys were outside setting up their motorcycles. "Hold on." Miley stepped out of the car.

"Gentlemen, please give your attention to Demi Lovato." Miley clapped as I stepped out of the car. I waved to the boys. I looked over at Joe and he was in a trance. "Okay, let's go." they all got on their bikes. I got onto Joe's.

"What are you going to do with your car?" Nick started up his motorcycle. "I'm going home. The road life isn't me.Have a good one." she kissed Nick's lips and got in her car.

We all left before her, "Where we going?" I laid my chin on Joe's back.

"Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania." Joe looked back at me with a grin.

My smile became wider as I reached over and pecked his cheek.

It was getting pretty late when we finally got in a hotel. I flopped on the bed. "Where is Kae and Nick?" I looked around the room. They were the only ones missing. Joe lit up his cigarette in the room and began smoking it.

"They went to get the beer." Logan sat on the other bed, smoking his cigarette. I really didn't want them to get drunk and I definitely was not going to drink. Rest of the boys went to get the snacks.

I sighed, hugging my legs. "What's the matter?" Joe threw his cigarette out the balcony before he sat next to me. "I'm scared...."

His hands touched my face, "Demi, there is nothing to be scared about...I promise I won't let anyone hurt you." he got down on his knees.

"You did the right thing by running away. Protective parents cause runaway kids. They were awful on you.."

"Joe, don't say that.." I looked down for it to be lifted by his hands.

"You're not the only girl we have had on our trips. We know about periods and all shit. You tell me when and we'll stop at the store. I'm here for you, I'll protect you, I promise."

I grinned, "Okay..." I pecked his lips.

"Let's see what's on tv." Joe sat on the bed beside me. I grabbed the remote and turned on the tv. The first channel that was on was the news."

"The girl is supposedly from Newtown Connecticut. She's 18 and about 5'3. She had brown eyes and black hair. If you seen her call the number on the screen. Her name is Demetria Lovato." the news anchor spoke. It was usually the parents who tell people to find their daughter. They didn't miss me. They disowned me and they just wanted me back to punish me.

"We got the beer!" Nick walked in, holding the pack of beer.

I was over being miss sweet soft girl, "Give me one." I turned off the TV.
