I quickly got changed for the party Joe invited me too. I don't know why I said yes. I didn't want Joe to think I was a chicken. Why do I care though?

I slipped on some fishnet tights with a black short dress. I found some black boots in my closet. Right when I was fixing my hair I heard Joe. I unlocked my window so I could sneak in tonight. I ran out and closed my door.

"Matt,cover for me please. I'm going out." I opened his door. He stopped strumming his guitar. "Where you going?" he looked at my outfit.

"To a party. Please cover for me!" I grabbed my purse and ran outside.

"I thought I told you that I wait on nobody. You were a minute late,Lovato." he started up his motorcycle. "Do not tell me we're riding in that." I pointed to his vehicle. He chuckled at me. "Of course we are,princess. You were the one that decided to wear a dress, I never told you to wear a dress. Now hop on,you're wasting my time."

I took a deep breath and got on the motocycle. I put my hands on his shoulders. He chuckled as he drove off from my house. "Don't get use to this," I glared at him.

We stopped at a red light and I looked over to my right and there was my mom. "Oh shoot,it's my mom! If she sees me,I'm busted." I looked over to the left,covering my face. Joe just chuckled at me. "You laughing at me is getting real old."

"Well,princess, I don't give a flying fuck." he rode off when the light turned green.

"Is this your house?" It was a nice house, it wasn't huge,but it was nice looking for him. I got off the motorcycle,fixing my skirt. "Uh..you can say that." he lead me inside.

I was hit with with smell of smoke,weed,and alcohol. I coughed covering my mouth. Joe smirked at me. "Have fun. Get high,get wasted, and lose your virginity. Your dad isn't here." He walked away from me. I watched as he went over to a girl.

Was this a sex party,what's this?

I looked around the house and saw Joe's entourage. I kept walking around and I bumped into Selena. "Selena! What are you doing here?!"

"Guess I can tell you now.." Selena sighed.

"Tell me what?..""You're so stupid. I'm filthy rich and I lied about everything I told you!" she laughed, "My mom doesn't hit me. That was all an act. You need to realize how gullible you are and you don't belong here." she crossed her arms, I didn't know what to say.

"Joe and Nick do like me,unlike you,so too-da-loo,bitch." Selena walked off to Nick. I wanted to cry. I was about to until I felt someone's hand on my shoulder.

"What do you want?" My voice cracked as I turned around. "Come with me, you're not crying in here." the girl put her arm around me and took me outside to his truck.

"Get in." she got in her truck,there was a guy in the middle. "How can I trust you?"

"I'm saving you from embarrassment aren't I? Get in."

I sighed and got in her truck. She drove off. "I'm Maia and this is David." I looked at them,they looked like nice people. "Nice to meet you guys. I'm Demi Lovato, I'm new here and I hate it here."

David chuckled at me, "I moved her 3 months ago and I still hate it." I laid my head back. "Great. What were you guys doing at the party? No offense,but you guys don't look like the kind of people that they would invite.."

Maia threw her head back,laughing, "We weren't invited, we snuck in. They were too into each other, and high to notice us. We should have told you sooner,but Selena is a bitch. She does that to every new girl. She finds them a threat,for some reason."
