Lane eventually got called down to the principles office and I went to back to class. I was surprised that I didn't get ISS for my outburst, but I just figured the principle didn't want to deal with me again.
After school I walked to the gym for practice and Grayson was already there flexing trying to impress some girls. I scuffed and walked over to him, he smirked at me, and I narrowed my eyes at him and then to the girls that were giggling to each other.
"Jealous?" Grayson asked with another smirk. I laughed and said "you wish" while stretching my arms. He had an amused look on his face while he walked over to the girls. I rolled my eyes and waited for coach to show up.
After practice I drove over to Conner's house and knocked on the door.
A tired looking Conner opened the door and I walked in with a big smile. "Go pack a bag" I said to him while walking futher into his house. "Why?" Conner asked with a confused look oh his face.
I walked into his living room and sat on his couch "because you're going to stay with me the rest of the week. We're leaving for New York in a few days anyways." I said while looking at Conner. He still had a confused look on his face but he sighed and walked upstairs.
A few minutes later Conner appeared in front of me with a bag. I smiled at him and we walked to my car. "Where are you parents?" I asked while turning my head around to look at him.
Conner just shrugged his shoulders and said "a business trip I guess" We got in the car and I drove off. "well even a better reason for you to stay with me" I said with a smile. Conner didn't say anything the rest of the car ride.
We pulled up into Lane's driveway and got out. When we got to the door I heard yelling inside and I knew it was Porter screaming.
I knocked a little and Ella opened the door with tears in her eyes. Probably because of Porter's screaming. I didn't know where he was in the house and I didn't know who he was yelling at.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" I heard Porter yell and this time I heard someone yell in return. "It doesn't concern you Porter!" Lane yelled and I sucked in a breath when I realized that Lane was the one Porter was yelling at.
I grabbed Ella's hand and led her upstairs. I didn't know where the other girls were, but I walked us into Lane's room with Conner following behind us. I turned on the T.V. and put some princess movie on and Ella soon forgot about her yelling brothers.
Conner sat down in one of the chairs to keep an eye on Ella while I went to see what all the fuss was about. I slowly made my way downstairs and listened for one of their voices. I walked down the hallway by the kitchen and soon came to a room with a big flat screen and a few couches around the room. It was like another living room. And in the middle of the room was a red in the face Porter and a murderous looking Lane.
"How can you get suspended again?!" Porter yelled. Lane clenched his jaw and crossed his arms over his chest. Porter looked fed up with Lane and waited for a answer, when he didn't get one Porter narrowed his eyes and pushed Lane a little.
I stood in the door way with wide eyes, and I didn't think they had seen me yet. Lane regained his balance and unfolded his arms and open and closed his hands in fists by his side.
"Answer me! How could you get suspended?" Porter yelled again. Lane still didn't answer so Porter yelled in frustration and tackled Lane to the ground.
Lane was obliviously bigger and stronger then Porter so he easily pinned him down. "You're a jackass!" Porter yelled and Lane punched him in the stomach. Porter got one of his hands free and punched Lane in the face pretty hard but Porter was still pinned under Lane.
