Leafy's POV:
When Friday came, I slowly woke up. I yawned, tired. Then, I suddenly remembered what day today was. "THE PLAY'S TODAY!!!" I exclaimed excitedly. I quickly stood up and changed into a flowing green skirt and white top with a green leaf on it. I rushed downstairs and quickly ate some cereal. Amy then came downstairs and ate some cereal, looking at me oddly. "I'm excited for today!" I told her. "Oh yeah! It's the play today!" she then realized. I smiled happily as I put my bowl in the sink. I started spinning around like a weirdo. I dunno... I get really strange when I'm really excited. Don't judge... I got my backpack once Amy was finished her breakfast, then skipped out of the house towards Firey's house. Once we got there, I knocked on the door. Firey answered it, then I randomly hugged him. "Today's the day! The sun is shining! (A/N: "The tank is clean! And we gonna- *GASP* The tank is clean... THE TANK IS CLEAN?!?!?!" Who else remembers this??? I <3 Finding Nemo! (>w<)) I'm so excited!" I exclaimed. Firey laughed and said, "Me too, me too." Ash came out of the house. "I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE PLAY TODAY!!!" Ash exclaimed, hugging Amy. "ME NEITHER!!!" she exclaimed back. Firey and I laughed at their reaction. We started to walk to school, soon dropping off the younger ones. We headed off towards our high school, me skipping along, practically pulling Firey along. I grinned happily, hugging Firey quite a numerous amount of times. Once we reached the school, we went inside. During my classes, I was fidgeting a lot. I can't help myself! I'm excited! My teachers seemed to understand though. During the day, not only did I think about the play, I also thought about my Rom- Uh, I mean, Firey. His dreamy amber-colored eyes, his bright, fiery-orange and yellow hair... His heart-warming smile... His- I'm getting distracted... I glanced over at him multiple times throughout the day. Maybe I should tell him... Tell him my true feelings... Wut? Where'd that random thought come from? I was antsy, wanting the day to end. It seemed to be dragging on forever...

Time skip to drama class...

DRAMA CLASS!!! FINALLY!!! We all helped Mrs. Hanson set up the stage for the play. Once class was almost over, we looked at our work. It looked amazing. This just made me even more excited. I CAN'T WAIT!!! I'm way overly excited right now aren't I... Firey could clearly see my excitement, since he was laughing from me being so jittery.

Time skip to after school...

Hee hee! I was about to skip back, when Firey stopped me. "Leafy, calm down! You don't wanna be out of energy for the play, do you?" he asked. "Good point..." I said. He then laughed. That wonderful... Warming laughter of his... Okay, I need to focus! We walked to the elementary school, picking up Amy and Ash. We walked back home, me then suggesting that Firey and Ash should hang out at my house after Firey gets his costume. They both agreed, then Firey went into his house and soon came out, holding his costume. We then walked into my house, seeing Headphones and Speaky inside as well. Oak was sitting next to Headphones on the couch. "Hey sis," he said when he saw me. "Hi!" I replied. "Hey Headphones!" I said. "Hello!" she replied, smiling. "So, are Romeo and Juliet ready for tonight's play?" Oak then asked, secretly winking at me. A light pink blush filled my face. "I'm can't wait to perform!" I exclaimed, trying to ignore what Oak said. Firey nodded in agreement. My parents then came into the room. "Mom, Dad, you're home early!" I said, surprised. "Well, we weren't gonna miss our daughter's performance!" my dad said. "I'm so proud of you Leafy! I can't wait to see you up on that stage!" my mom added, hugging me. Once she let go of me, she exclaimed, "Photo time!" Amy, Ash, and Speaky walked over to where my mother was pointing. Headphones got up and walked over as well. My father walked over as well. Firey then walked over, me following him. Oak then decided to trip me... "AH!" I exclaimed, then getting Firey's attention. He turned around, then catching me. "You okay?" he asked. I nodded, then looking at Oak. "Really Oak?" I asked, annoyed. "What? I didn't do anything!" he answered, then laughing. I just shook my head, then tripped again on the carpet! Firey this time wasn't paying attention, so I accidentally fell on him. "Sorry!" I exclaimed, quickly getting up. "It's fine Leafy, no worries," he said, then getting up as well. "You can't blame me for that one Leafy," Oak then said. I rolled my eyes, then walked with Firey to the others, Oak following us. We all got in the picture, my dad setting up the camera on his phone on a timer. He set it up, then quickly ran to the group. "Say cheese!" he then said. The photo was then taken. "Dad, can you text it to me?" I asked. "Sure I can, I have a phone and the physical ability to!" he said. "Ugh... Dad... You know what I mean..." I replied. Dad jokes. He laughed, then texted me the picture. "Leafy, could you send it to me too?" Firey asked. I nodded, sending it to him once I received it from Dad. "Leafy, Firey, I think you two should get changed into your costumes so we won't be late," Mom then suggested. "Mom, we still have two hours..." I pointed out. "Yes, but I still to do your hair and makeup and such!" she exclaimed. "Mom... That's not important... The acting is..." I said. I'm not a huge fan of makeup. Personally, I think I look strange in it. But maybe that's just because I don't wear a lot often. For everyday, I only wear a tiny bit, just like foundation and stuff. If I'm feeling like it, maybe a tad bit of lipgloss. But why deal with all the eyeshadow and eyeliner and blush and crazy stuff? "Please dear?" my mother asked. "Well... I suppose tonight's a special occasion..." I hesitantly said. "Alright! Go change now," she told me. "You too Firey," she then added. "Why does Firey need to? I highly doubt he's putting on any makeup," I said, laughing a bit. "Oh, I suppose your right..." my mom then said. I went up to my room, closed, then locked the door. I carefully changed into the dress, not wanting to ruin it somehow, then went back downstairs. The second I got downstairs though, my mom rushed me back upstairs once again. She pulled me into the bathroom, then started applying makeup on my face. (A/N: Geez, this whole thing so far has been Leafy's POV... I'm gonna switch over now...)
