Chapter 37 Moving Forward (Very short)

We open up to a hospital, laying in one of the beds would be the body of the young Mimikku. His eyes slowly twitch open being blurry for a moment before adjusting. Sitting up he would let out a groan looking to his bandaged arms.

Y/n: "Damn, this hurts"

Najenda: "Good, it should kid."

Najenda spoke revealing herself next to the window while drinking from her flask.

Y/n: "Drunk?"

Najenda: "You've been out a while kid. Honestly I'm even surprised your arms are even in one piece"

As she speaks the boy pulls off the bandages revealing very large and clear scars on his arms. On his left arm would be deep electrical scars running up it while his left had numerous blade like cut scars. Both sets of scars reaching up to his shoulders.

Najenda: "Kid, I think it's time I pick up your training. You need to stop being so weak. In order to do this, once your cleared we're leaving the village"

Y/n: "What?! What do you mean leaving the village! What about Hinata and Naruko!"

Najenda: "Your gonna have to tell your little girlfriend. As for your sister, who do you think gave me the idea. She and the old sage are leaving about now in fact"

Getting out of bed Y/n rushed out of the hospital grabbing his clothes on the way out. Najenda only lets out a sigh looking at the flash in her hand.

Najenda: "This kid of yours Mimi. His struggles are just beginning, nothing can match up with what's to come for him"

We cut to the village gates where Naruko is seen starting to walk away from the village with Jiraiya. She suddenly stops when she hears a voice call out.

Y/n: "Naruko!!"

Turning around she sees Y/n standing at the village gate catching his breath.

Naruko: "Y/n?"

Y/n: "You seriously gonna leave without saying goodbye, I'm hurt sis"

Naruko: "You should be in bed after how badly you got hurt!"

She runs up to the boy who smiles with a chuckle

Y/n: "Yeah well I slept enough. I at least wanted to see you off. After all, we won't see each other for a while"

Naruko: "Yeah..." she looks down "Listen Y/n, I wanna tell you something before I go. When I come back I know I'll be strong enough so that you don't have to protect me!"

Y/n: "Oh, is that a promise?"

Naruko: "Believe it!"

Y/n: "Then, until we meet again. Become strong and watch yourself around the Pervy sage"

Naruko: "Don't worry I will. Just one more thing"

Y/n: "What's u-"

He's cut off when Naruko suddenly kisses him on the cheek, pulling away with a light blush on her cheeks.

Y/n: "N-Naruko"

Naruko: smiling "See ya!"

With that done she turns rejoining Jiraiya as the two walk off into the distance.

Y/n: "Don't worry sis, I'm gonna get stronger too. No more holding back."

Najenda: "Nicely said Mimi"

Y/n: "What the?! When did you get here?!"

Najenda: "Don't mind that. What you should be focusing on is getting a bit more rest. The moment your okayed by the hospital is the moment we leave"

Y/n: "I... I understand, although I do have one small request"

Najenda: "Hm?"

Y/n: "During our travels I wanna know if we can find more people like me and Naruko. Ones who have these beasts inside us"

Najenda: "Eh, why would you want to find them exactly?"

Y/n: "I wanna know how they felt with these things inside them. How they adapted and how they were treated for starters. Not to mention, I wanna see what kind of jutsu they have~"

Najenda: "Hahaha! Of course you'd wanna see more jutsu, alright then Mimi, you got a deal!"

A week later Y/n was officially released from the hospital. It also ment it was time for him to leave the village. We see the boy at the village gates along with Najenda who was standing by as he speaks to Hinata.

Y/n: "I know this is kinda sudden but we won't really see each other for a while. Please forgive me"

Hinata: "No, I understand you need to go and train. I'll be here waiting"

Y/n: smiles "Thank you, Hinata. I'll be sure to send a letter whenever I can"

As he turns to leave Hinata grabs his hand making him look back. What came next he definitely wasn't expecting. The shy hyuga places her hands on his cheeks before kissing him on the lips. The kiss lasting a few seconds before they part, both having flushed red faces.

Y/n: "H-Hinata"

The girl simply started to push Y/n away words his awaiting teacher.

Hinata: "Y-you should really get going"

Y/n: "R-right..."

As Y/n joins Najenda and the two walk off we see Hinata standing at the village gates watching them leave. It's then we see her teammates and sensei join her.

Kurenai: "Nicely done Hinata"

Kiba: "Didn't think you'd have it in ya"

Shino: "Very nice"

As they congratulate the girl her entire fave gets redder and redder until she suddenly faints.

We cut to a view of Y/n as he walks with Najenda. His gaze moving up to the sky before moving back down to his hands, holding a small sketch. In said book would be a rough sketch of a kunai with his flying raijin formula on the grip.

He smiles closing the book ready for nothing but training for the years to come.

An: And here we have it, this book is officially finished! But we are not done here oh no we aren't. We still have shippuden to get into. So get ready for when that comes out. Who knows maybe I'll even do some small mini prequel chapters of Y/n meeting the other Jinchuriki, only time (And my willingness to write) will tell.
