The Morticians Daughter: A Patience of Eternity My Crush

I'm back for reals now! I swear. And this chapter will be longer, promise.

My beautiful Erin lived on the other side of town. Next to the hospital and the Starbucks I saw her at yesterday. My wife went to that hospital frequently, as did Shadow as I found out yesterday.

All of us had loaded into Drews car and were following the directions that Erin had sent us earlier that day.

I looked a little too excited for my wifes liking. She gave me a suspicious look but didn't say anything.

Eventually we pulled up at Erin's house. Both of the girls gasped a the sight of it. It was even bigger seeing it the second time.

I ran from the car and knocked on the door. Erin, who was still pajama clad, answered the door.

"Oh, hey guys!" she said letting us in. "Long time no see Drew. How you been?" she asked as she hugged her friend. As this hug happened, I noticed several tattoos covering her arm. And pink lines under them.

"I'm great!" Drew answred. "You?"

"Wonderful. I love my job. Hold up, let me change and get the girls real quick. Then I'd love to meet you Ms. Lindsay." Erin said cheerfully as she shook my wife's hand. "Please make yourself comfy. I'll be right back."

She turned and ran up the stairs. When she reached the top a loud, 'Yo guys, get up!' was heard followed by two loud groans. I chuckled and showed them to the couch.

A few minutes later Shadow was the first to bound down the steps. She smiled at me and then ran to sit next to Drew and Lindsay, gushing about how much she loved her and MSI. Livi was next and she sat on the loveseat, texting the girl who played Jasmine at Disneyland. She groaned a few minutes later.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Becky won't be in for her shift. I've gotta be Jasmine today." she rolled her eyes. "She going out to see One Direction. And told boss man I was taking over."

"I'll drive you." Erin said, her voice came out of nowhere. "But I need some coffee first. Anyone else, follow me."

I hadn't any coffee either so I followed her into the kitchen where she started the coffee maker that looked straight out of the 90's. "That thing is ancient!" I laughed. She looked at me a blew out a small flame out her mouth. She smiled large.

"Wanna go, Way?" she asked and blew a slightly bigger flame out this time. I looked at her in amazement.

"You... mastered your powers?" I asked. The coffee machine dinged and sheturbed towards it.

"So did the other two," she sighed. "Both of them also found out they have another power." she said and squeezed her mug so hard, I thought it was going to break. I pulled it from her hand.

I knew she had two powers. I knew what the other was. I also knew I couldn't tell her. She would try to hard to master it before she even discovered it. She would become depressed and suicidal. It would kill her.

"I'm sorry," she unclenched her fist, "I'm being childish. I know I sound stupid an-" I cut her off there. I couldn't help myself anymore. I pressed my lips against hers, in a passionate kiss. Her lips moved back against mine. We kissed for a minute until she pulled away.

"No. No. No. I can't. I'm sorry. You're married. No. And I'm kissing you. No. No. I'm so stupid. I'm so sorry." she rambled. I grabbed her shoulders and pulled her in for a hug.

"Shh, it's okay. Let's get our coffee and we can take Livi to work, okay?" she nodded slowly and then she poured our coffee.

"Let's go Snow!" Erin yelled as Liv bounded towards the front door, the hearse keys in her hand.

"Anyone else wanna go?" Erin asked. Everyone else said they were comfortable here. "Okay see you later!"

Livi ran and sat in the passenger, I groaned and climbed in the back seat behind the driver seat. "Off we go!" Livi sang as we drove out the driveway.
