Chapter 21

<Paige's Pov>

~Skip a few days~

Hayes and I have been hanging out a lot! Rose and Shawn went up to Canada to see Shawn's family for a few days. They will be back in about 3 days. Since they are gone Hayes and I decided to do couple things like go on dates and stuff. Today's date is going to be going to the lake for a little then to dinner then to see a movie. I grabbed my bathing suit out of the drawer and put it on. I looked at myself in the mirror. I'm super insecure and so when I looked at myself I got super upset and sad. I put a fake smile on my face and grabbed my cover up and put it on. I grabbed my towel and sunscreen and put my sandals on and went to Hayes' house. I got to the door and Hayes answered.

"Hey babe!"

"Hey Hayes!"

"Ready?"

"Yes I am!"

"Alright let me just grab a few things and then we can go!" He smiled and kissed my cheek. I blushed and turned away. "Babe you don't need to be embarrassed."

"I know..." He kissed my cheek again and then grabbed his stuff. We went into his back yard and down to the dock. We got on the boat and went out into the middle. I took my cover up off and jumped in quickly.

"Babe why'd you jump in so fast?"

"No reason..."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure.." I giggled trying to release tension.

"Okay." He jumped in doing a cannon ball and making a big splash. He swam up next to me and grabbed my waist. "I love you baby girl!"

"I love you too!" I kissed him but this time on the lips. He pulled away and smile.

"You know how gorgeous you are?"

"Hayes please stop."

"But babe your hot!! Like I don't know how I got so lucky. You could have stayed with Grayson but you chose me. I love you so much for that!"

"Hayes! You proved to me how much you loved me and Grayson's never did anything like that. So when you showed up and had that it made me realize you're the one I want that's why I didn't pick Grayson and also how did I get so lucky. Even though you had your bad moments I still always knew I would end up like you. Even when you would lie to me about you using or drinking you always treated me like a princess! So thank you for that babe!" He pressed his lips on mine. We made out for a good couple minutes. I pulled apart. I didn't want it to lead to something else. We looked into each other's eyes and he smiled. When we was least expecting it I splashed him. And swam away as fast as I could.

"Oh no you're going to get it now!" I laughed and swam away. "Babe your so mean to me!" He frowned. I dove under the water and swam back to him. When I came up and I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around me. I pulled away and he splashed me. I wasn't even going to try and splash him back cuz he's going to win this battle and I'm done with it!

"Can we go tubing now?" I smiled.

"Of course babe." I pecked him on the lips and got back on the boat and quickly grabbed my towel and wrapped it around me. Hayes tried to come cuddle with me inside my towel but u wouldn't allow him. I don't want him to make fun of me or be ashamed that he has such a ugly and not skinny girlfriend. We went back up to the dock so we could get Nash to come drive the boat while we went tubing. When we came back out to the water. I took the towel off cuz we had to get in the tube. I was super conscious the whole time I was standing there I had my arm over my stomach.
