Maya's POV

After talking for hours last night, we finally went to sleep. I lay down next to Farkle, and move closer to him. I bury my head in his chest, and he wraps his arms around me. I smile, and look up at Farkle, who's already half asleep, but smiling softly.

"I love you." I whisper, tightening my hold on him.

"I love you more." he whispers back, stroking my hair, and kissing my head. Then, I slowly fall back asleep.

I flutter my eyes open, to find Farkle, staring at me, smiling.

"Good morning." he says.

"Good morning. Why were you staring at me?" I question.

"How can I not?" he smiles. I tilt my head and make a confused face.

"Maya, you know that you're beautiful, right?" he asks me. I shake my head and look down.

"Maya." he lifted my chin up. "Never believe that you are not beautiful. You're the most beautiful girl I've ever known, inside and out. Never let anyone tell you otherwise." He pulled me into him, and kissed me. When we pulled apart, I smiled.

"Thank you Farkle. For everything." I buried my head into his chest.

"I'm just telling the truth." he strokes my hair. "You hungry?" I nod. "Then lets go get doughnuts!" I smiled. We went down the balcony after telling Lucas we were going to get breakfast for all of us.

We walk five minutes to the doughnut shop, our hands linked together. We got two boxes of different types of doughnuts, and four coffees. Then we head back to Riley's house. We carefully climb back up, trying not to spill or drop anything. We finally make it, and find Riley and Lucas awake. Riley is in Lucas' lap, crying and Lucas is holding Riley, and it looks like he's been crying, too. I duck down quickly, and motion for Farkle to stand on a different part of the fire escape. I stand there too, just holding our food.

"What's wrong?" he asks.

"They were crying." I whisper. "And Lucas had Riley in his lap, and she was just holding onto him. Lucas looked like he was scared, and Riley was just crying into his chest. I don't know what happened, but something did happen. I think that we should give them their time. They probably need it."

"Huh. I wonder what could've happened." Farkle whispers back.

We spend the next half hour talking about what could've happened to them before we decide to go back up and check on them. When I did, I found them talking, Riley still on Lucas' lap, and I found that I was a little bit jealous, but I just waved it off and motioned for Farkle to come up.

"Hey guys, we're back." I said, showing them the doughnuts while Farkle brought up the coffee.

"Thanks, guys." Riley says, sitting next to Lucas, putting her head on his shoulder.

We opened up the boxes and dug in for the next hour while chatting about anything we can think of. We laughed and teased each other, and this was going to be a moment that I would remember forever. With my best friends.

Lucas' POV

We talked for what seemed like days, but it was actually until we realized that the sun was going down. Riley and I went into her house to make pizza after a while.

Riley gets out the store bought pizza, and I unwrap it.

"So, you okay now Riles?" I ask her, wrapping my arms around her, while we wait for the pizza to finish in the oven.
