Riley's POV

We have been in college for two years now, and we're all having a great time. We've had parties, sleepovers, nights on the town, and just hung out all together. I hope that it always stays like this.

I lay awake at midnight, trying to sleep, but something is bugging me. I just can't put my finger on it. And I can't sleep from it.

"Maybe someday it'll be gone..." I hear Maya's voice say.

"Maya?" I whisper, only to find her drooling in her sleep. She must be dreaming.

"No it won't. I'm stuck with this."

What the heck is she talking about?

I listen to her talk for an hour before finally falling asleep.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wake to the sound of Maya singing in the shower, and she's really good.

I finally get out of bed, and pull my hair up. I get in front of the mirror that is full length, and sit down. I do my makeup, and pull my bangs back. One I finish, Maya comes out of the bathroom, all dressed and ready to go to her first class.

"Okay. I have to go to my logic class. I'll see you in writing.Love you Peaches..." she says, grabbing her bag and heading out the door.

I head to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I slip on a black camisole, and a black and white striped maxi skirt over it, and a white cardigan. I grab my black sandles, and my bag, and head to the cafe a couple blocks down.

My first class doesn't start for another 45 minutes, so I decide to stay at the cafe and work on my assignments that are due next week. I order a coffee and a bagel, and take a seat where I usually do, at the back in a corner.

After about half an hour of typing, I decide to finally head to chemistry.

The walk takes about 5 minutes, so I get to class with ten minutes to spare. I only have this class with Farkle, and he's already here, too. He waves to me, and I take a seat next to him.

"Why are you so early?" he asks, not looking up from his paper.

"Well I was at the cafe a couple blocks down, and I decided to come a little earlier just cause I have nothing else to do." I shrug.

"Oh." he says.

Finally, class starts, and it goes by rather quickly. I say goodbye to Farkle, and walk across campus to writing, where I meet Maya outside of the classroom everyday. And there she is, standing right where she's supposed to. I walk up to her.

"Hey, Peaches." I say as we walk in.

"Hey, Honey." she says as we take our seats. We still have about 5 minutes left before class starts.

"So anything interesting happen in logic class?" I ask.

"Nope. Just boring math." she rolls her eyes. "What about you? Anything interesting happen in chemistry?" she asks.

"Nah, not really. Just hung out with Farkle." I say.

"Cool." she says, the she stares off into space.

After a minute of Maya staring into space, I wave my hand in front of her face. "Maya? Earth to Maya!" I say, snapping her out of her daze.

"What? Oh, sorry." she says.

"What were you thinking about?" I ask as she looks down.

"Nothing much." she answers, but I can see it in her eyes that she's lying. But, I shake it off as the teacher starts the class.
