Maya's POV

It has been four weeks. Four weeks! And I've got no way to get her out. We don't even know where she's at! She's no longer at the local prison, so she could be anywhere in the U.S!

I haven't left Riley's room since she left. Cory and Topanga let me stay here as long as I want, since my mom is usually gone anyways.

I've slept in Riley's bed every night, and have cried myself to sleep. Every morning, I look at all of her pictures. Everyday, I've written a letter to her. So far, I've written her 28 letters. I'm keeping them all in her desk drawers, so that she'll see all of them when she gets back.

I finally get out of bed after about an hour of thinking. I look at myself in the mirror. I look bad.

Tears stain my face, along with mascara that has run down my face all night. My eyes are red and puffy, and my face is pink. The once high bun that I had put my hair in, is now sagging down and a frizzy mess. I'm wearing my 96 tank top, and a pair of Riley's black spandex.

"Hey, Maya." I hear a voice from Riley's window.

I turn around. "Oh, hey, Lucas." I softly smile.

"I have some letters to drop off in Riley's dresser." He holds up a stack of paper.

Farkle, Lucas, Cory, Topanga, Auggie, and I all decided to write her a letter everyday. We all started this the day after she left.

"I was thinking that maybe we could all get a box, and put our names on them. We could fill them with our letters. I don't think that all of the letters could fit into Riles' desk." I chuckle a little.

"Yeah, good idea." he agrees.

"I'll go get the boxes." I head downstairs, and find the storage closet. I grab a box for all of us, and head back up.

"Okay, I'm back." I say, looking up to find Farkle. I jump, and throw my hand over my chest.

"Farkle! You scared me!"

"Sorry!" he apologizes.

I shake it off, and grab a sharpie.

"What are you guys doing?" Farkle asks, confused.

"We're going to put the letters that we've written in a box so that they'll all fit." Lucas explains as I nod.

I take the first box and write, 'Cory'. Next, 'Topanga'. Next, 'Auggie'. 'Farkle'. 'Lucas'. 'Maya'.

I grab my box, and head to Riley's desk. I open up her drawers, and grab all the letters that I've written. I put them in the box, making sure that they don't get out of order. I'm putting them in chronological order by months. This one is June's.

Lucas grabs his box, too, and puts his letters in. Farkle does the same. I don't know how anyone else is arranging their letters, because we can't tell anyone what we're writing, or what we're doing. We promised that only Riley would see our words.

Soon enough, Auggie, Topanga, and Cory all had their letters, and put them in their boxes. We all stand there, looking at our own boxes.

"Mommy? When is Riley coming home?" Auggie asks, bringing tears to my eyes.

Topanga squeezes Auggie. "Soon, Auggie. Soon." she whispers.

"We are going to get her back soon, right?" I ask softly.

Everyone but Auggie nods. "No matter what it takes." Cory says.

"She'll be back soon." Farkle reassured me.
