The next night had come fairly quickly.
Lilith found herself now sitting across from two evil pricks.
Jason and his tyrannical father Orion. Both vile and sick in the mind for threatening war against her kingdom just for kicks.
Lilith shuddered as she recalled finding--oops, I mean creating an "offensive as possible" dress to wear solely for this occasion to piss off these psychotic twits.
Of course, she had help in putting together her insulting yet glamorous dress that was sure to be a hit with anyone except the morons of Astoria.
*Flashback/Rewind in Time*
Lilith went through her closet, looking for a dress to wear to dinner for tomorrow night at the Astoria Kingdom, however she couldn't find one dress that was to her liking. All of them were way too modest and could even be found in the fashion catalogues ordered by every rich class citizen's grandmother.
Rather than a hoity-toity old person's regal dress, she needed something that screamed "I'm a wild girl so don't you bother messing with me, punks."
She sighed.
"Looks like I'll have to take matters into own hands," she muttered under her breath as she began formulating a plan to deconstruct and re-design one of her uptight boring dresses into a disturbing skimpy dress that would cause both the foul King Orion and his cold-hearted son Jason a heart attack.
And leave their kingdom completely open for the taking.
Lilith coughed.
No damn you, Lilith, you ain't no colonizer!
You're just a Queen.
A much hated Queen, that is...
"Lilith?"
Startled, Lilith turned towards the doors separating her bedroom from the rest of the kingdom.
"Hermes?"
Without asking if he could come in (typical!), Hermes made his way on over to her.
He ran a hand through his jet black hair and then spoke rather softly.
"I heard about what happened with the Statue of Primadonna."
"I'm sure everyone did." Lilith said, bitterly, throwing a bunch of dresses onto her bed.
Then she sat down next to the dresses and began sobbing.
"I really tried you know, fixing the statue," Lilith informed him, through tears. "I shouldn't even have bothered trying to repair it for those ungrateful hooligans. Lousy no good, judgemental idiots!"
The citizens of Primadonna were all so cruel. Lilith couldn't help but wonder if they were planning an uprising against her. They all probably held secret meetings underground, discussing how to topple not only her reputation but also her.
Seriously, while they loved her father, they didn't give her one ounce of affection. Her maids, even though they did their work, were cold. Jason, even though he wasn't a citizen of Primadonna, was supposed to be her future husband yet he was absolutely ghastly.
Just because Lilith slacked on her queenly duties after her father's death, it didn't mean that she should be warranted to such un-queenly, uncivilized barbaric treatment.
"I shouldn't have left you alone to go to the tavern." Hermes told her, his face solemn. He got out a handkerchief and passed it to Lilith who took it gladly and blew. "Don't cry. There are still ways we could improve your image."
"Improving my image will have to wait. I have a request to go to dinner with the Royalty of Astoria."
Hmm, perhaps request was the wrong word.
No, not a request. More like a demand. A threat.
More coming soon!
