Chapter 9

Joselyn's POV
Grayson took me to Sonic for our date! He knows me so well and we haven't even been dating that long. After we order our food we sit outside and wait. This girl came out on roller skates to deliver our food. That reminded me of my last date with Grayson where he fell right on top of me. Awk-ward. After we got our food we dig in.
"So...how's life?" I asked after an awkward silence.

"It's pretty good. No complaints here. How about you?" he said.
"Pretty awesome. I mean I'm going out with the Grayson Dolan which is pretty great!" I replied with a smile. Another awkward silence.
"Can I ask you something?" he asked me.
"You just did!" I laughed. "But what is it?"

Please ask me to be your girlfriend! I'm so excited inside. I have butterflies in my stomach.
"Well...since me and Ethan are heading home soon after our shows here, I was wondering if you wanted to live with me? And Ethan?" My heart dropped to my stomach.
"If you don't want to it's fine," he said. "But just think about it for a moment." So I think for about a minute.

"I don't know," I finally say. "I don't want to leave my friends. They love it here and I do too and I want to be with you too!" I felt like crying.
"It's fine. Think about it, okay?" he says.
"Okay," I reply.
He saw the tears in my eyes and went over to hug me.

I cry into his shirt pretty hard. He didn't seem to mind. After my breakdown we finished eating and went to the car. We were silent the whole trip to my house. I said, "Thanks for the ride." and got the car without another word. I felt the tears coming again and I didn't want him to see me cry again. I didn't know how I was going to break it to the girls that I might leave LA and go with Grayson. I'll have to tell them soon.

Grayson will be gone before I knew it and I would regret not going with him if he left without me.

Grayson's POV
"How was it?" Ethan asked me.
"I don't want to talk about it," I reply as I zoom past him to my room. I lock my door and have a meltdown myself. After I calm down, I text Joselyn.

Me-Hey...
Joselyn-hey😔
Me-I'm srry I put u in that position. R u okay?
Joselyn-im fine. I might tell the girls tonight or tomorrow. I'm scared
Me-I understand. I'll talk to u later. Get some rest okay?
Joselyn-okay. Gn. Ilysm😘😍
Me-Ily too. Gn

After that, someone knocks on the door.
"Can I come in?" It was Ethan. I get up without a word and unlock the door to let him in.
"You okay?" he asked.
"Yea," I replied. "I'm not in the mood."
"I won't ask then," he said.

I lie down on my bed and sigh.
"Everything's going to be okay, Gray," he says.
"Okay," I sniffle.
"Goodnight, Grayson," Ethan says and walks out the room. I hope everything is all good in the morning.
