Part Eleven: Back to Training
Akira and Chaos circled each other warily.
Akira now holds her broadsword in both hands, her gaze betrays nothing.
The crowd is watching in hushed awe.
'Go, Chaos, you can do it!' yells Naruto, hopping up on the bars to call out to her.
Her gaze flicks towards the blonde for a moment, and this is all the opening Akira needs.
Akira lunges forward, raising her sword, Chaos barely blocks it with both of her katana.
The pair glare through their weapons at each other before flipping away.
They resume circling each other.
'Lightning release: Black panther,' hisses Chaos, Akira's eyes widen as the black lightning panther chases her, screeching as it fries her.
Chaos immediately follows up with an attack using her katana.
Akira is still dazed and barely blocks off the in coming attacks.
The pair suddenly both do backflips to create distance, both warily eyeing each other.
Each is wondering who will make the first move.
At this point, Chaos is also wondering if Akira knows any jutsu at all, she hasn't seen the other ninja do any jutsu.
'Lightning release: Black panther,' Chaos decides to repeat her earlier jutsu, she watches with dull interest as Akira shrieks and tries to escape the black lightning panther.
But of course she can't outrun lightning and is knocked unconscious.
'Tero Chaos is the winner of this round!' announces Hayate.
Chaos smiles weakly at the stands, then immediately drops to the ground, unconscious.

Lilith strokes Chaos' hair idly, waiting for the black haired girl to wake up.
They're in a room in the hospital, Chaos had been taken there after passing out.
Already Lilith had came up with plans for training Chaos.
Finally Chaos stirred, her eyes fluttering open, Lilith is the first thing she sees.
'Lilith,' croaks Chaos.
'Shh,' responds Lilith, moving to the table to fetch Chaos a glass of water.
Chaos accepts the water gladly, 'Was I unconscious very long?'
'A couple of hours, all of your team has had their matches,' replies Lilith, 'they all passed.'
There's a knock at the door and Kakashi enters the room, 'Chaos,' he greets.
She nods back politely, 'Kakashi.'
'Lilith and I spoke, she'll be training you for the third exam,' explains Kakashi.
Chaos nods, 'Sounds good.'

A few days later when Chaos is training she senses some odd chakra within the village, Lilith also notices, 'Should we go look?' she ponders.
Chaos nods, 'Lets go,' she takes off running, Lilith hot on her heels.
They arrive to find an unconscious Kakashi, Itachi and Kisame already retreating.
'Kakashi will be fine,' barks Chaos, 'Lets go after them.'
'Alright,' replies Lilith, 'But we should avoid confronting them, we'll see who they're after.'
It isn't long before they arrive at a hotel in a small village.
'So they're after Naruto,' whispers Chaos.
The pair hang back, following Sasuke in when he arrives.
Itachi seems to take special notice of Chaos.
Chaos meanwhile, had noticed a blackhaired woman standing with Shizune.
Sasuke went for Itachi with a yell, ignoring the fact that an old man had just arrived.
'Itachi, we should go,' says Kisame.
Itachi nods in agreement, 'Another time, Naruto,' he says, the pair turn and run, leaving Sasuke unconscious.
Suddenly there's a green flash and someone flies in and kicks the old man in the face.
Chaos and Lilith glance at each other in confusion, nether of him able to recognize the old man or the man in green.
'Take Sasuke back to Konoha,' the old man instructs the man in green, 'He'll need medical attention, Naruto and I will continue to look for Tsunade.'
The man in green scoops up Sasuke, nods and disappears in a puff of smoke.
The old man now notices Chaos and Lilith, 'And who are you two?'
Naruto speaks up, 'That's Chaos, she's on my team! And that's her friend, Lilith!'
'I'm Jiraiya,' the old man introduces himself, 'you two planning on heading back to the village?'
Chaos considered, 'We'll stay, I want to keep an eye on Naruto.'
They went into the hotel room, 'Are you both taking part in the Chunin exams?'
'No, Chaos is, I'm training her,' Lilith spoke up cheerfully.
Jiraiya considers Lilith for a moment, 'you look a little young to be training Chaos.'
'Kakashi and I discussed it,' replies Lilith, 'I'm going to train her to use jutsu more often and wield a broadsword.'
'I can help a little on the jutsu front,' notes Jiraiya.
'If you have the time, we'd appreciate it,' answers Lilith.
Chaos looks impatient, 'So what's the mission?'
A beam spreads across Naruto's face at the chance to speak, 'We're looking for Pervy Sage's old friend, Tsunade!'
'Tsunade,' Chaos considers, 'Another of the three sannin, interesting.'
Lilith also seems interested, 'Chaos, training from Tsunade would be invaluable.'
Chaos nods in agreement.
'Tsunade doesn't take on students very often,' notes Jiraiya.
'If she hears who Chaos's father is and sees how good Chaos is,' replies Lilith, 'She'll make an exception.'
The Sannin moves to sit down, his gaze locked on Chaos, noting her bony structure, short spikey black hair and blue eyes, 'I take it you're from a well known clan, but I can't place which.'
The black haired female shrugs in return, 'We don't have any distinguishing features.'
'So who's your father?' asked Jiraiya.
'Tero Havoc,' answers Chaos.
'Ah,' goes Jiraiya, 'Tsunade would definitely be interested in training you in that case.'

The next morning they leave that village, Jiraiya having concluded that Tsunade wasn't there.
Naruto was training as they walked.
Chaos merely had her broadsword out and was carrying it to adjust to the weight.
'This is taking forever,' complained Naruto.
In reply, Chaos rolled her eyes.
'So what was it like,' started Jiraiya, 'Being trained by Tero Havoc?'
Chaos considered for several long moments, 'Harsh, I spent every moment awake training.'
'Do you have any siblings?' asked Naruto, looking interested.
'A few,' replies Chaos, 'Not all of them are still alive, training with my father can be a hazard.'
'I see,' Jiraiya falls silent to think.
The black haired female narrowed her eyes at him, 'Did you ever meet my father?'
He nods, 'Once, he was a fierce opponent.'
'You fought him and lived?' Chaos seemed mildly impressed.
'Barely,' answers Jiraiya, 'I had the feeling he was holding back.'
Chaos snorts, 'He does that, he likes to toy with his opponents on occasion.'
'He evidently cared for you some if you lived,' replies Jiraiya.
'I'm his youngest child, I guess he felt he owed it to me to let me live,' replies Chaos.

A/N
Chaos was actually planned to be a lot stronger in the beginning, like Jounin or Kage level, even.
But eventually I sort of dulled her down, and she's probably midway between Chunin and Jounin at this stage.
Until this point, I didn't really have a lot of plans story wise, but I think I have a few things planned, now.
