//Troye's POV//
Did he just? Am I dreaming? Please tell me I'm not dreaming.
"Send this to me Tro?" The voice that had belonged to the boy who could practically mold me like putty in his hands. He stood there smirking at me, this fucker could see my confusion and I could see in his eyes, he found this hilarious.
I nod my head slowly, still not able to comprehend what had just occurred. On my way back to earth, I notice Zoe and Tyler look like they had just seen a ghost, staring back and forth between Connor and I. Alfie was trying on glasses, posing in the mirror, also catching a glance of Joey who stands behind Zoe, stifling a laugh.
"Why have none of y'all told me Connor and Troye are dating?" Tyler asks, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"Oh um- we- Con and I are only -" I try to get the explanation out but Connor cuts me off by wrapping his arms around me from being, placing his chin on my shoulder. Also shaking off Tyler's hand in the process.
"Troye boy and I aren't dating." Connor giggles in my ear and I swear it sounded like angels are singing to me.
"Hmm, it sure doesn't look like it. But whatever, I will declare myself the captain of the Tronnor ship when you admit your feelings for each other. " Tyler winks and walks over to Alfie, looking back at us every other second. Probably hoping he would catch us kissing or something.
"What is Tronnor?" I ask, turning my head slightly to look at the green-eyed beauty that still hold me tightly.
"Oh its the mixture of our names, Troye and Connor together equals Tronnor." He enthusiastically answer before continuing, "Yeah, Zoe made it up." Of course she did...
I answer with an 'oh' in understanding. He pulls away from of comfortable hug session, resting his arm on my shoulder. Leaving me slightly sad with the lost of contact.
"Now lets find you some clothes, I know how much Zoe has wished for the chance to 'bring a wardrobe addition." He pulls me over to a Zoe you gives Connor an excited look, receiving a nod in return. "I am going to head next door to see if the coffee shop is hiring, so have fun." He gives me a tap on the head before skipping out the door with Joey not trailing far behind.
---
After we picked out dozens of outfits for me, our small group -which included myself, Zoe, Alfie and Tyler- walked to the coffee shop directly next door.
'Wakey Wakey Coffee Shop' The sign above us reads. The door dings when we enter, signaling for the workers to all say, "Welcome to Wakey Wakey!"
It was a very cozy atmosphere, couches and love seats scattered throughout the whole shop, small tables in front of them, and these large windows that make the room feel so much more open.
I am the first to spot Connor and Joey sitting on a couch, backs facing us.
I turn behind me and place my index over my mouth, signaling for my friends to be quite. Slowly I walk to Connor, careful to not let my shoes make any sounds against the brown wooden floor.
When I reach Connor, I see he is reading a piece of paper that looks like a application. I'm betting they will hire him. I mean, why wouldn't they? He is a hard worker, he's smart, and I'm sure his good looks would bring in some business.
"Boo!" I wrap my arms around his neck, resting my head on his shoulder. He slightly jumped from this action but then quickly leaning in and turning his head to look at me.
"Hello Troye boy." He giggles.
"Hi Conbon!" I find myself lost in his eyes again. The green pigment that fades into a beautiful hazel in the middle. Every time I look at them, my heart flutters. Right above his eyes is the small bump in the middle of his forehead, he had gotten it when we were jumping on his parents bed one night during a sleepover and he fell of the side of the bed and hit it. I honestly found it one of his cutest features. I adored it and wouldn't trade it for a undented forehead in a million years. That bump is apart of him, not just his outside appearance but it effected his personality as well, not by a lot but still.
That bump made his feel so self conscious, he would complain about it many times when he felt eyes on him, like people were judging him for that bump. I had tried to explain they were in awe of his unfathomable perfection but he wouldn't budge. I often catch him looking in the mirror just staring at that bump.
Someone clears there throat, kicking me out of my own little world I made in Connor's eyes. "Well, if you two are done 'not being a couple'," Tyler says, using quotations with his fingers, "I will go get myself a coffee, want anything?"
"No thanks Tilly." I watch as he walks over to the front counter with Zoe. Turning back to Connor, I snatch the application he was previously reading out of his hands and begin to read. Nodding to all the answers he had put, all being so raw and real. Not leaving one question blank. He's perfect for the job. These people are blind if they don't hire him.
"Good?" Connor looks at me questioningly.
"Well..." I lie, watching as his eyes widen in almost fear. "Just kidding, Its great Connor. I'm sure you'll get the job."
"Thanks Tro. You're the best." He walks to the front counter, waiting to give the form to the manager. He turns around giving me a weak smile, probably to reassure himself. I return with a wink and a thumbs up, not at all unsure if he would get a job.
