//Troye's POV//
Reaching the top of the water slide, I can look over the city. Its very pretty even when the sun shines over it. All of the houses and business and people look so small compared to usual. When I walk on the side walk, I feel like the small one, like the world might be going against me. But from up here, I'm the giant that is looking over everyone else.
"Beautiful right?" Connor's voice asks delicately from behind me.
"Its amazing. How did you ever find this place?" I ask turning towards him.
He looks great. He's wearing a black fancy button up shirt with a leather jacket over it, in black pants and nice shoes.
"A year or two ago my friends Kian, Jc and I were exploring and we just found it out of luck." He answers, looking out as well.
I feel his hand brush up against mine slightly. Slowly I intertwine our fingers together. His hand tightens around mine in reassurance before softly tracing shapes on the back of my hand.
"Come on, this is only the beginning." My mind makes a mental note of his words. It's the beginning of the date and also our relationship. We don't know what will happen after this, but life is about taking risks and making mistakes so you can fix them later on. This is just a work in progress.
He pulls my hand and we start walking down the water slide. I keep my eyes on my feet, knowing that one step can make me trip, bringing Connor down with me. And I refuse to be the reason for him being hurt. From the top of my peripheral vision I can see his head turned to me, a wide smile gracing it.
When we come to a stop I look up. Laying on the blue water-slide is the tumblr set up that I had expected. One blanket laid down flat with pillows and blanket on top to have a warm and comfy night. On the side sits a cute picnic basket that I'm sure is filled with more surprises.
"This is amazing Conbon!" I smile at how ridiculously adorable this is.
"But there's more!" He replies like a game host showing off prizes. He pulls me to the blanket and we sit down in the sea of fluffiness. "I brought food." He grabs the picnic basket and pulls out a bag from subway and gives me a sandwich. I can already smell the chipotle southwest sauce.
"You know just what I like, thank you Con." I grin, probably as red as a tomato.
We eat our delicious sandwiches and talk about everything from LANY to Chuck E. Cheese to our thoughts on social media. Laughing about anything and everything.
"Wait look!" Connor grabs my hand and pulls me off of the pile of comfortable blankets and to the edge of the slide, looking out into the city.
A gasp slightly when I see there is a newly formed sunset in front of us. I don't think I've ever seen anything so perfect and so amazing. The color changed from a bright yellow light shining down on us, to a dark orange that is providing little light but still is as gorgeous as ever. "Connie, this is so incredible!"
"You know what would make it better?" He wraps his arms around my back, resting his chin on my shoulder.
"What?" I giggle slightly when his breath hits my neck, tickling me slightly.
"Nutella."
"You didn't?" I gasp, my eyes wide.
"Oh but I did." He pulls me back to the comfy position on the blankets. Grabbing a jar of nutella out of the basket, with two spoons in his other hand.
"This is officially the best date ever." I pronounce, taking a spoon from his hand.
"I like this Troye." Connor admits, pulling me closer to his body.
"I do too." I cuddle into his warm and safe embrace, wanting to stay in the position forever. Just pause this moment in time.
"Troye?" His ask, running his fingers through my hair.
"Hmm?" I glance up at him through my eyelashes.
"I know this may be a little to soon but, will you be my boyfriend?" I can tell how nervous he is by his breath, giggling slightly at how fast his heart is beating
"Connor, I'd be honored."

I'm leaving for camping today so I won't update till at probably 3 or 4 days. (Unless I find WiFi)
