//Connor's POV//
When I woke from our nap, the bed was empty. I was cold. And much worst, Troye wasn't with me.
I can make out the weirdly odd faint smell of cookies and cheese.
I begin to make my way down the stairs when I finally hear the voices of my three friends.
"Hold up. Rewind. So you heard what?" Alfie's signature scratchy voice asks.
"Sweetheart." Zoe sighs obviously frustrated with her boyfriend.
"Okay ill tell you again but don't tell Connor," I hear Troye say, my heart stops. Is he keeping things from me? I know that its bad for me to be ease dropping, but, why would Troye be keeping things from me? "cause I don't know if he remembers or even meant to say it." Troye answers my thoughts.
Oh no... what did I say now?
"He said, 'Good night Troye boy. I love you'"
Fuck. Shit.
I can't believe I would do that.
Connor, you idiot. He obviously doesn't love you back.
"Aw it gets more adorable every-time you say it." Zoe squeals.
"Well theres only one thing that needs to be asked." Alfie states.
I already know what he will say and I know that if I hear the answer I will be heartbroken so I have to think of something fast.
"Do you love him?"
And there it is.
Before Troye gets the chance to say no, I walk into the kitchen where they all stand.
Making myself look as if I had just woken from a long rest.
"Ahh what smells so good?" I act. Probably failing.
"Uh H-hey Con." Troye stutters, scared I had heard their conversation... Which I had...
"Hey babe. How you feeling?" I walk over to him next to the stove, kissing him lightly on his cheek.
"I'm good now." He responds blushing. "Thank you."
"I'm happy to hear." I speak as I take the lid off of the pot, Mac & Cheese. And cookies sitting in the oven. I laugh at the weirdness of that combo. "Yum. Mac & Cheese and cookies. Exotic."
