//Troye's POV//

"Remember when we found that abandoned water slide?" Kian nudged Connor.

Last night we stayed up for a couple more hours then just fell asleep on the couch. Now its morning and Connor, Kian, and Jc had not stopped reminiscing on the 'old days'.

"Yeah! And we got on top of our penny boards and slid the whole way down!" Jc continued the story I had been told last night at our date.

"Actually..." Connor smirked and took a glance at me. "I just recently took a very special person to the slide for a cute date."

I watch there reactions to Connors news as Kian smirks and Jc looks curious and confused.

"Really? Who? Was it Joey? I bet it was Joey." Jc pointed out to everyone, thinking he would win.

But Jc did make a good guess. I would rather date Joey then me. And why wouldn't Connor. He could have anyone and he chose me. What if this is all just some prank? C'mon, My mind speaks, Connor would never do that.

I keep my thoughts to myself and stayed quiet.

"You're an idiot!" Kian slaps Jc's arm. "Look at there fucking hands!"
Jc's eyes wonder down to Connor and my intertwined fingers. His eyes widened almost comically. "Ohhhhhhh!" he drags on with a circle shaped mouth.

"Well now that the cat is out of the bag..." Connor stops and giggles at his own pun. Adorable. "Babe, should we call Zoe and Alfie and check on how everything is going?"

It took me a moment to realize he called me babe. I immediately smile and nodded.

Kian let us use his phone because we wanted to have precaution just in case Kayla and Jacob were still at the house. We don't want them to accidentally see the caller ID and know that Zoe and Alfie had lied.

We quickly dialed, put it on speaker phone and silently waited.

"Hello?" A tired Zoe answered. She must have been asleep.

"Zoe, sorry to wake you. Did they leave?" Connor spoke calmly.

"Oh yeah. We called the police and they have a patrol car parked across the street." Zoe yawned. Long night? "Its safe to come home."

"That's great! Thank you Zozeebo!"
"Yeah, talk to ya later." She answered before hanging up.

"Great guys I'm happy for you!" Kian shouted as he jumped out of his seat, going into an immediately hug with Connor. Jc taking the chance to hug me ass well.

I felt a twinge of jealousy in my stomach when Kian got the first hug but I will have to get over it. Connor is a very attractive person of course everyone is going to be touching him.

When my brain stopped having a life crisis over that one hug and Jc let go of me as well, Connor wrapped his around me into a tight and warming in-brace.

"See? I told you we would be safe." Connor whispers in my ear. His warm breath against my neck causes a shiver to rush down my spine.

"I'm always safe when I'm with you." I speak truthfully.

He lightly blushes but a grin still is prominent on his face.

I know this is cliche but I don't care, his green eyes had a spark in them, I could get lost in them forever. I think I just found my new favorite color.
