(A/N: This was so fun to write)
Wolf groggily stumbled down the stairs to the room he was assigned. He had barely paid attention to Bear's speech, but he could feel Phoenix guiding him to a door.
He couldn't think straight, his limbs felt slow and heavy, he wanted to sleep.
Resa? he called out mentally and heard his wolf run down the stairs, nearly crashing into Phoenix and him.
"Wolf we can't have them in here." He head her say sternly.
"Resa doesn't leave my side." He mumbled sleepily and stepped into his room. He heard Resa growl at the edge of his hearing, so he placed a comforting hand on her head.
"Shhhhhhhh Resa people are sleeeeeping." He commanded and collapsed on what he hoped was a bed before closing his eyes.
"Are you alright?" He heard someone say.
"I will be fine Phoenix." He murmured and opened his eyes to scan the room. Phoenix must have left because he couldn't find any bright blonde hair, instead he found short white hair and a confused face staring at him.
"Whor you?" Wolf slurred and made room for Resa to fit on the bed.
"What is wrong with you?" He heard the person demand.
Whoever they were they had a strooooong voice. Wolf giggled, "I think I'm dyyyyyyyyying." He responded and studied the wooden ceiling, "Oak," he identified with another giggle.
"Just go to sleep." He heard the person groan. Wolf turned his head to at them and focused his eyes enough to see that it was a boy. He sat on his own bed and ran a hand through his pale hair before unclipping a sword sheathe from his back.
"Woooooooah," Wolf breathed, "Yer cuuuuuuuuute."
The boy met his gaze with piercing violet eyes, "Uh... thanks?"
Wolf giggled and slurred out, "Ma name isssss Wolf. Nice to m-see you," and held out his hand.
The boy meerly stared at the hand and replied, "I know who you are, we have been together for a moon now." He articulated and began to pull off his boots.
"How di I mange to ged somen like you?" Wolf asked in disbelief.
The boy furrowed his brow in confusion and then widened his eyes, "Oh, gods, no that is not what I meant. I'm not like that. I will never be like that."
Wolf smiled dopily, "Heeeeeeeeey, people can change yaaa knooooow. I been Diifer ma whoooooooole live." His smile faded, "at leas... I think so. I don rememb much."
The boy nodded boredily and pulled off his jerkin and short-tunic, leaving his chest bare.
"Now yer jus teas meeeee," Wolf whined.
The boy chuckled lightly and laid back in his bed with a sigh, "I suppose this is one of those Arizium things?"
Wolf could remember that at least, "Is like bein drunk. Someties ya stay sleep, other you have... broke brain."
"Raven was unconscious without Arizium," the boy remembered. "I had to carry her."
Wolf burst out laughing at that, "Lynx said you was a jeeeeerk. That don soun veryyyyy... jerkish.:
"I only did it because I couldn't risk having a witch running around my kingdom, especially not in a forest that I might lose her in."
"Suuuuuuure," Wolf drawled and sat up clumsily, "I think youuuuuuuuuuuuu have a softy spot."
"You are full of it," The boy snarled and pulled the covers up to his neck.
"You act aaaaaaaall tough an shit, but yeer jus a fat weaklin."
"Go to sleep," The boy ordered and snuffed out the candle.
"I bet you don even know how to use tha big sword o yers," Wolf teased in the darkness with a giggle, no response came. "Ahhhhhhh, ignorin me now. Am use to it anyway. I hav a memory, of ma past, ya know. Ther was a... boy. Cute like you. I looooooved him," he said with a stretch, "We were good friends, gra friends. I got greedy, I kissed em. We weren friends aft that. He ignored me. Every one hates me after that," his voice softened, "I tried to die. I really did. I don member much after that. After we were taken, I get greed again. That time I nearly paid fer ma live, but they only took last finger."
"I couldn't care less, now go to bloody sleep." The boy groaned and switched positions. Resa growled softly.
"Sorry." Wolf apologized with a whisper and fell onto his back on the bed.
The boy muttered something incoherent and pulled the covers up to his neck and slowed his breathing.
Wolf copied him and allowed Resa to climb under the covers with him. As soon as Resa nosed in next to him, he passed out.

He dreamed of the only memory he had, the one of his friend. The same scenario played out as he remembered it, except when it came time for the kiss, his friend (who he remembered was named Kit) didn't reject him. Wolf's heart burned with a fiery passion as their mouths worked against each other in a frenzy. Wolf could feel Kit smiling as he pulled back for breath, "I have always wanted to do that." Kit whispered with a grin.
~
"What the bloody hell are you doing?"
A voice said, it was so close it made his head pound.
"Wha are you talkin about Kit?" Wolf responded and snuggled closer to whoever spoke. Unfortunately, that response earned him a shove that sent him sprawling on the floor.
"Don't touch me." The person snarled.
Wolf woke up enough to realize that it was the boy in his room. He had only fallen asleep for a minute, and yet somehow he had made his way to his roommate's bed.
He muttered something that he hoped was an apology and shuffled back to his own bed to snuggle Resa.
He had a feeling in his sick mind that he would end up leaving his own bed more than once that night.
