Twins: Falling in Love

Chapter 5:

Third Person POV:

Hiccup and David were both walking to the cove with two fish and their shields.

They got their and threw the fish walked forward. Then, got the shields stuck between two rocks. They just walked under them.

"Just great," said Hiccup.

Both boys went and picked up there fish. Hiccup walked left. While, David walked right.

Little did they know was that both night furys were watching them from on top of two rocks.

Hiccup and David noticed the dragons that were watching on the rocks.

The dragons jumped down from their rocks.

The boys put the fish out in front of the dragons to feed them.

The dragons growled at the gesture. Both boys got their daggers off their shirt belts, threw them on the ground, and then threw them into the pond.

After, the dragons noticed they did that they acted like two cute puppy-dog's.

David's POV:

Yes, I gained this dragon's trust . I put the fish out, again. I noticed it was a girl. So, I decided to name her Shadow because of her shadowy scales.

She took the fish from me and started to nudge my hand to make me pet her. So, I started to pet her a little. That seemed a little to easy.

I looked over at Hiccup who looked like he was having to eat a bite of fish that his dragon threw up. Glad Shadow didn't do that to me.

Gross!

Hiccup's POV:

Ok, it's good I gained this dragons trust. I was afraid of what he would have done if I didn't. The dragon was sitting all cute.

I held out the fish, again. He crept toward me slowly. He got to the fish.

"Huh? Toothless, I thought you had te...." The dragon's teeth retracted out and ate the fish quickly. "Teeth," I said.

That's what I'll call him, Toothless.

He started to walk towards me. I was sitting on the ground pinned to a big rock.

"I don't have anymore," I said to Toothless. He started to hack back up the fish. Oh, great I think I know where this is going.

Toothless hacked back up the tail part of the fish and gave it to me in my lap. I picked it up. I toke a bit. Toothless swallowed. So, I did. I had my hand over my mouth to keep from throwing it up.

I look at him and smile. He tried his version of a gummy smile. I put my hand near his nose. He growled and flies to the other side of the cove away from me.

So, I got up and walked over to David who was sitting on a rock drawing something in the dirt. I noticed his dragon was on the left side of him. Lucky him. I sat to the right side of David.

"Your so lucky, your dragon instantly liked you," I said sounding a bit annoyed.

"Hey, it's not my fault Shadow is a girl which means she'll trust faster than yours who I'm guessing is a boy." stated David.

"Whatever, so you named her Shadow. Let me guess because she has shadow-like scales." I asked while laughing on the inside.

"Yep, so what did you name yours?" He asked while petting Shadow.

"Toothless, give me that stick." I said.

David gave me the stick. I started to draw Toothless in the dirt. Until, I noticed there he was hovering over me. I heard him walk away and a tree being snapped out of the ground.

I looked up from my drawing. There was Toothless with a tree starting to draw lines around me, David, and Shadow. He stopped to put a dot. Started again and whacked David and I upside the head. Shadow started to laugh. Then, Toothless threw the tree away and nodded at his lines.

I got up and stepped on a line. Toothless growled. I picked up my foot and stepped on the line two more times. He growled each time I stepped on the line. So, I stepped over the line no growl from him.  I took the moment to just walk out of the cluster of lines. I get out of them after, a bit. But, then I felt a deep breath down my back. I turned around it was Toothless. This was my moment to get him to like me.

I put my hand a bit near his nose. He growled. So, I turned my head away from him still having my hand still up. Then, a few seconds later his nose was on my hand.

Yay! I now have a friend that's a dragon. Well, it'll be a forbidden friendship to all four of us.

Shadow and Toothless are now David's and I friends. This is going to be a hard secret to keep from all of the village. We both walked back to David and Shadow.

"Well, David we have to help these two fly again it's our fault they can't fly, anyway." I said.

David's POV:

"Yeah, we have too," I said.

Shadow was on my left, Hiccup on my right, and Toothless on Hiccup's right.

I petted Shadow's head.

I'll never let anything happen to her now that she's my best friend. I also think it's the same for her for me. Also, with Hiccup and Toothless.

Hiccup and I decided to train both dragons while also making them fly again.

"Lets promise one thing Hiccup to always protect each other no madder what happens." I said looking at Hiccup.

"I promise," Hiccup said.

We stayed till sunset then, left the cove and went home.
