Twins: Falling in Love

Chapter 19:

David's POV:

Hiccup and I were starting to tick the Red Death (queen) off which was our smart/dumb plan. We plan on making the queen confused by going into the gray storm clouds then flying back towards the ground which should kill her on impact.

We did that and as we were approaching the ground the queen was beginning a fire ball.  Hiccup and I sharp turned on our dragons just before the queen's body impacted the ground with a fire explosion. We told Shadow and Toothless to fly faster to escape the fire that was flying up.

But David and I both impacted with the Red Death's boulder-like tail. I got knocked out cold. I felt myself start falling towards the flaming ground below. I felt wings wrap around me before I fell into the darkness of my  mind and everything went blank.

Stiock's POV:

"Hiccup, David!?!?" I yelled when the flames died away and all dust was settled.

I was frantically looking for David and Hiccup. Or even their dragons. I saw two black objects moving 30 feet away from me. It was the boys dragons. I ran towards them. I knelt in between both dragons. I was tearing up because I couldn't see Hiccup or David anywhere. The dragons were laying on their sides.

Hiccup's dragon the one with the emerald eyes looked at me and opened his wings so did David's dragon. They moved their legs and laying still but breathing were... Hiccup and David! I held both boys close to me to check their pulse and were happy they were still alive.

"There alive..." I said with happy tears.

"Well... most of them anyway." Gobber said coming up to my side and gesturing to the boys feet.

I pulled away from the boys and thanked the dragons before I looked to the boys feet. Hiccup lost his left leg just below his knee and David lost the opposite leg. Well Gothi and Gobber can fix that. I stood up with Hiccup in my arms and Gobber picked up David.

We both walked back over to the group of vikings.

"Let's go home." I stated.

Astrid's POV:

2 weeks later...

Emma has been worried sick about David. She barely leaves his sides during the day. Because she wants herself to be the first thing David sees while him and Hiccup are healing from the Red Death incident. 

I'm worried about Hiccup but, its not the viking-warrior way. I have to literally claw at my sister's hand to release her grip on David's hand. Then drag her home so she can sleep and eat before staying at her boyfriends side for the full day.

Em and I were walking towards their house and noticed a crowd of vikings were outside the chief's house where the twin boys were at 50 yards up on top of the hill in town. We started running fast towards their house.  

The boys must of been awake!

Hiccup's POV:

I saw blackness for miles and miles until I felt a gust of air on my face that brought me back to the real world. I slowly opened my eyes.
