Amaya (A TMNT FanFiction)

I: Here Kitty Kitty

Donnie POV

"The-the kraang. You have to hel-help her. She-she's only a lit-little girl," April gasped. She was panting hard as if she had been running a while. She was so beautiful when she was being so brave as to watch the kraang and warn us.

"Turtles move," Leo shouted. The four of us moved out while Sensei took care of April. I didn't want to leave her when she was so scared and frightened. If I stayed maybe she would see that I was a gentleman and maybe she would go out with me.

Not now Donnie, we have to save someone. That would get April's attention more and also a little girl will be saved from the kraang. So I followed my brothers through the sewers until we made it to a sewer cap that was near the location where April had dropped her T-phone.

Once on the surface my brothers and I scattered to find a way into the kraang's alien lair. It was Raph who found the first opening and sent the signal to rendezvous at his position. Next it was up to me to disable the alarms. Was it green to red or red to blue? Why didn't you write the down Donatello? he screamed inward. Nervous, I took a chance cutting the red to blue wire and to my delight and my brothers' lungs it worked. The other three let their breaths slide out for which they were holding. I gave them all a thumbs up and Mikey gaveme a high three. Leo nodded and one at a time we jumped into the building.

Leo POV

Once inside Donnie and I went left while Raph and Mikey went right. I wasn't sure if they would find anything, but I knew I had to trust April's eyes. Though we didn't see, there had to be the little girl that she had said she seen being taken by the kraang. Whenever Donnie and I would find those dang robots we would slash them to pieces. They have no right to even be here in New York.

"Those who are called the turtles will do the thing called halt so that the kraang can do the thing known as the kicking of butts."

I turned to see kraang-droids surrounding us in almost every direction.

"I thought you said you disabled the alarms," I frantically hissed at my brother. Donnie let out a nervous laugh and rubbed his neck. "Onegai Shimasu." I whisper and pull out his katanas.

"BOOYAKASHA!"

Mikey and Raph were near by. We could tell not only by the unique battle cry of our orange masked brother but also as a sais pierced its way through three kraang-droid heads and burying its tip into the nearest wall.

Raph was the first to make it to me and with good news as well, I mean sorta good news. Good and bad.

"Leo we found the girl, but they already are mutating her. We need to get to her quick." Raph said with a tone I didn't believe he had ever heard come from him. What was it? Fear? Protective? It could be any number of things that I didn't have time to worry about.

I paused for a moment while Raph covered my back. "Send Donnie to get her, with Mikey as back up. You and I can handle the kraang while they get the girl."

"B-team move out." Raph hissed repeating my orders.

Donnie shouted, "Don't call us that!" While Mikey winked and pulled Donnie along.

Raph and I just had to hold them off until our other two brothers returned with the girl.

Mikey POV

"Which way to the girl?" Donnie asked.

"Relax dude just follow me and we'll get" I responded.

"Those who are in this place are the ones who are called the turtles, the ones who are called the turtles should not be in this place." Some kraang droids started shooting their laser thingys at us and another turned to speak to the others. "Experiment D2029 is almost ready. Those who are called the turtles will be destroyed by the one known as experiment D2029."

As soon as the crazy aliens finished speaking the sound of claws on metal rang through. My bro and I had to cover their ears from the horrid sound. When I looked at her she had a look of a scared little cat. She couldn't have been more than twelve years old.

"Awe," I smiled. "Who's a cute little kitten."

The girl unseathed her claws and bit my finger. Between my screaming and Donnie's face being glued to the adorableness, we could hear the other brothers coming down the hall. I was sucking on hi now bruised finger from the tiny sharpened teeth of the little mutant cat girl. It didn't seem like she wanted to destroy us at all, though. It seemed to me like she was just scared of the battle and wanted a way out.

"Raph, Leo we have to get her out of here," I shouted.

Raph POV

I had never heard such a protective tone come out of Mikey's mouth. Then I saw the girl's terrified face. I knew exactly what Mikey had meant.

"Come here girly, I get you out of here I promise," I said. She was clinging to the wall and slowly reached her hand out to me.

"I-I can't reach you," she cried and hugged herself back to the wall.

I tucked and rolled to get to her position and pulled her into his arms. She was crying and hung tightly to my chest. While I was running I held her with one hand and was fighting off oncoming kraang with the other as he made my way to the exit. From behind me, I could hear my brothers' light footsteps running to catch up with me.

The exit was just ahead and kraang were coming from every direction. The small girl laced her claws into the back of my shell and clung on tight so that I was able to fight until my brothers caught up with us and I could get up the wall and up through the hole in the ceiling. There was new scratches in my shell thanks to this little pip squeak. I growled and jumped back down to join the fight so my brothers could make it up. I knew I would be the last since I was the best fighter of us all. After Mikey gave a "Woo hoo" shout I backed up and climbed the wall again with my sais. The others had to climb up by Mikey's long nun chucks.

Donnie was attending to the small cat girl's wounds, and Leo was assisting while Mikey was making jokes to try to cheer her up. She was still crying. I could tell because tears were glistening by the moon down her sopping wet fur. It's gonna be okay pip squeak. You're with the turtles now. I thought to myself.

When it was time to move Leo tried to pick her up but she bit him. The same happened with my other two brothers. I walked up to her carefully thinking she may bite me as well but she climbed back on my shell and latched her claws into the same spot thy had been before.

We moved silently through the night. Leo was the first to the sewer cap and signaled for us to follow. Swiftly we made our way to the lair. Splinter was waiting for us as we returned.

"What is your name young one?" Sensei asked.

"A-Amaya." She squeaked in a thin Japanese accent masked with a heavier Brooklyn accent.

"Your family?"

She turned her head, tears again rolling down her cheeks, "D-d-dead."

Helllllllloooo lovelies! Here's the first chapter! Also doesn't Amaya sound so cute? Anyways you guys are probably wondering where I got this idea. Well the story plot I've been thinking on for a while but I hadn't ever read any TMNT fanfics until just recently which inspired me to write a story on here and I am complete;y starting over on my plot line and going with a mutant girl instead of April's sister. Anyways the biggest inspiration to this book being started is hope_forever_18 Make sure you check out her books cause they are off the chain! Booyakasha!
