Chapter 15

~ 1 month later ~

I still can't believe I'm engaged. It's so surreal. I'm five months pregnant now and you can definitely tell. Vernon had to break the news to all the guys and they were honestly kinda mad. I understand though, I mean they just had a debut a couple months ago.

Vernon hasn't been home lately but I'm okay with it. I think I've been so distracted with my ring. Also I've been having the weirdest cravings. Just yesterday I was dipping pickles inside a jar of peanut butter and calling that a meal.

"Guess what" Vernon yells once he comes through the door. "What baby?" I question. "We're going back to America in one month to debut our brand new album!" He almost shouts running towards me.

"OH MY GOSH!" I haven't been this excited in a long time. He grabs me and picks me up spinning me around in a circle. He then bends down and kisses my stomach.

"Hi Skylar. It's daddy. How have you been in there? Daddy loves you baby" he talks to the growing bump on my stomach while holding my hand.

He's been singing and talking to her quite a lot lately and it's so adorable.

By now all of his fans know about me and there have been a lot of death threats and people threatening to hurt me so Vernon doesn't really take me to fansignings or shows with him. It's really scary to be honest but I try to not let it affect me.

"Am I going to be able to go with you?" I have to ask. "Um yeah. The first place we're going to is New York. Then About 10 other cities. We're going to be there for two months like the last time I was there." He answers

Oh my gosh I'll be around 8 months pregnant when we come back to Korea. Whatever I'm just so happy I'll be back in New York.

"There's something else I have to ask of you. I know it's not really fair but my management wants to know if you'll be able to go back to the states in two days. They don't want to put you in danger by traveling with me." He says.

I let it sink in for a few minutes then nod my head agreeing. I guess it would be safer for me. "I'll call Madelynn right now and ask if I can stay with her." I tell him. "But I'm going to be away from you for almost a whole month" I start to pout.

"I know baby it's going to be hard but it'll be okay. I'll be there in no time." He assures me. I call Maddy later that night and tell her the news. Of course she says yes so I start to pack.

On the day for me to leave Vernon drives me to the airport and stays with me until it's time to go. When they call out that my flight is ready he drops down to his knees and starts talking to Skylar. "Bye baby, I'll see you in a few weeks. Daddy loves you."

We exchange our goodbyes and I love yous. Once I get on the plane I'm seated next to another pregnant lady who looks like she's about to pop. I sleep mostly the whole time. Only getting up to use the restroom or to ask the flight attendant for some food.

When I land I go to the front of the airport looking for Maddy. When I spot her I begin speed walking. "Maddy!!" I yell. "Hey girl" she embraces me. "How was the flight?" I get into her car. "It was the most boring thing oh god" I reply to her.

On the way to her house I roll down the window and let the fresh New York air in. I am so happy to be home. I should text Vernon and tell him that I got here safely.

To: Vernon♡

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I made it to New York in one piece.

Not even a minute later and he responded already.

From: Vernon ♡

Okay, thanks for letting me know baby. I love you :*

To: Vernon ♡

I love you too :)

"Can we go get a pizza?" I ask Maddy while rubbing my stomach. I haven't had one in such a long time.

"Of course mom. I really still can't believe you're going to be a mom." Her eyes twinkle. I can't believe it either. I just smile at her.

We get to the pizza place in no time. "Can I have two slices of pepperoni pizza with mushrooms, pineapple and extra cheese." I order for myself.

When I'm done eating we go to Maddy's house and I start unpacking all my things. I suddenly feel so sleepy and decide that a little nap won't hurt.

The next morning I go take a walk by myself. On the walk I see none other than Cole Stewart, my ex boyfriend. Oh this should be good.

At first I don't think he recognizes me but as soon as we're an inch away from each other he stops and opens his mouth. I pretend not to see him but he grabs my shoulder.

"Kylie? Is that you?" I turn towards him. "Hey Cole." I breath out. "Oh my gosh, how are you? I've really missed you." He starts to say. Cole was one of my few mistakes. At first it was fun being with him but then he just got out of hand. He was too attached. I had just broken up with him before I went to that party at Maddy's house.

I'll have to admit, I think I once loved him. he looks down to my stomach "Wow, your pregnant." His eyes won't stop staring. "I'm also engaged" I say showing him my ring. I don't miss the hurt in his face. Maybe I shouldn't have thrown it there.

He doesn't say anything for a long while. "Are you happy?" He asks looking into my eyes. I feel like he's trying to see into my soul. Am I happy? Duh. "Yes, I'm actually very happy." I smile.

"Can I get your number? Cole asks me. I guess there could be no harm in giving him my number. It's not like I have any more feelings for my first boyfriend anyways. I give him my number then continue my stroll.

These past few days in New York have been the best. It's so good to reunite with my home town. Vernon is supposed to come tomorrow and I'm going to be at the airport waiting for him.
