Chapter 25

Since I woke up this morning to find the note that Vernon had left me, I haven't been able to fall back asleep. I have been tossing and turning in bed for about an hour and a half. What's the use of trying. That's when I decide to get up and take myself a shower.

When I step into the shower, I accidentally take a wrong step and I almost fall but I quickly catch myself. "AHHHH!!" I scream out loud.

Oh my goodness!! What would've happened if I fell on my stomach? Obviously something really bad but you never know. Maybe someone should be here in case anything happens and I can't help myself. But I have no one when Vernon is working.

My heart is still beating fast and out of my chest. That really scared me, and the thought of even hurting my babies is heartbreaking.

I take my time in the shower. I'm standing under the shower head and let the warm water flow down my body and just think. I think about all the past events stuff that's happened to me. If you would've told me a year ago that I would get pregnant with twins and move to Korea, I would've laughed in your face. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, I'm absolutely thankful for Vernon and our babies but that would've sounded ridiculous.

I finish up my shower and I carefully watch my step as I come out. I wrap my hair in a towel and get another to dry my body. As I'm about to put my clothes on, I hear a knock on the door. That's weird because I'm not expecting any company other than my mom but, she's not gonna be here for about another three weeks.

I get dressed as quickly as I can get them on. I'm in the middle of putting my pants on and I hear yet another knock. "Coming" I yell. Wait what if they don't speak English. I laugh to myself. I rush towards the front door and open it.

"KYLIE!!!"

"What are you guys doing here!?!" What in the world are Maddy and Ally doing here?! It's the middle of March, shouldn't they be in school? I'm happy that they're both here, they can keep me company. But this is so unexpected.

"We came to see how you, Vernon, and our niece and nephew are doing and we're on Spring Break so it worked out perfectly" Ally explains while looking through the cabinet. "Kylie, do you have any of those coconut cookies, you know the ones with fudge and caramel?" Ally questions. "I think they're in the next cabinet" I reply. "Ohh thanks" I nod in response.

"Do you guys want some breakfast?" I ask. "Yes, please we're starving" Maddy answers for both. I get out the ingredients to make breakfast.

I finish making breakfast, we serve ourselves and we sit down at the table. We're in silence for moment but Maddy breaks it with her asking me a question. "So what have you been up to Kylie?" "Umm, nothing much really. I recently just ordered stuff online for the twins and Vernon and I set up everything for when they come" I smile. "Aww, that reminds me I got them a little something" Maddie coos. "Me too!" Ally joins in.

Ally and Maddy get up from the table and go into the living room. They come back into the kitchen with gift bags. "Aww guys you didn't have to" "But we wanted to" Ally says while handing me the gift bag.

I open the gift bag and remove the tissue paper. I take out pink and blue blankets, wash clothes, baby soap, rubber duckies, teddy bears, and cutest little adorable pink and black converse for the twins out of the bag. "Oh my gosh, these are too cute Ally! Thank you so much!" I give her a tight hug. "You're welcome" Ally says in return.

"I'm next" Maddy gives me her gift bag. I open it and take out about four onesies, socks, bows for Sky, Minnie & Mickey mouse plush toys, and other cute stuff.

As I was going through the onesies, one of them caught my eye. On the front of the onesie it said "My favorite aunt got me this" I laughed out loud. Of course she got this for the twins. "Thank you so much Maddy, these gifts are lovely!!" "You're very welcome" Maddy also gives me a hug.

"Thank you again girls, you guys are the best honestly moments like this are the ones I'm going to cherish forever" My eyes get watery and I'm getting emotional. "Aww Kylie don't makes us cry" Ally adds in.

"Let's go bake some cookies and brownies so we can take them to the boys later" I change the subject before I get more into my emotional state.

"Okay" The girls say in unison. We began to take out all of the ingredients to bake the brownies and cookies. I hope the boys like chocolate chip cookies because that's all I have in the house. I don't really feel like going out to the store.

After we finish baking all the cookies we get into my car and head to the studio. "Kylie you're getting so big" Ally says next to me and Maddy agrees from the backseat.

"I know I feel so ugly." My mood changes. "Oh hush. You're practically glowing! You look gorgeous darling" Ally compliments trying to make me feel better. "Yeah you're so crazy. You look stunning, and your belly makes you look cute." Maddy adds.

"Thanks guys" we get to the studio and go in through the sliding glass doors. Ally and Maddy look especially happy to be here. I know Maddy is anxious to see her cousin but Ally?

The boys are just lounging around, some of them are practicing a particular part of a dance and the others are writing lyrics. I spot Vernon sitting down at a table by himself with his earphones plugged in.

I'm about to tell the girls where I'm going but they've already walked off in different directions. I walk up behind Vernon and place my hands over his eyes. "Guess who?" I laugh.

He take my hands out of his face and turns around "Kylie what are you doing here!?" He stands up and kisses me. "The girls came to surprise visit me and they wanted to visit everyone else too. We even made cookies."

"Wow, where are they?" We scan the room and instantly spot Maddy talking to Joshua. But my jaw drops when I see Ally kissing Wonwoo. "Um okay." Vernon looks in my direction. "When did that happen!? Oh my gosh! They've been talking all this time!" I remember back when we all took that road trip together and I saw Ally had a couple of texts from Wonwoo.

That's cute. "These cookies are pretty good." Dino says out of no where giving me a heart attack. I try to play it cool. "Thanks" but end up laughing. Minghao and Jun start eating the cookies also. They compliment my baking.

"You're very welcome boys." I smile. "Hey she's a keeper" Jun whispers to Vernon but I hear it. Vernon looks down and blushes. It's the cutest thing ever. He grabs me from behind and pulls me towards him so the my back is against his front. "I love you so much." "I love you too"
