Marcella's POV

I woke up at four to do my morning run before school and made a light breakfast. I ran with Tanya again, we were becoming really good friends. When I got home I took a shower to get all the sweat and grime off me, and made some more breakfast. I sprayed on the scent blocker, making sure the scent would last 24 hours and then I would need another few sprays. After breakfast I ran to school, as I always do, confident I was going to blend in with the other scents, and tried to be  as stealthy as ever, I really don't want that wolf on my trail again or his son for that matter. I needed to talk to my trainer about learning evasive skills. I had a wolf trainer that lived on neutral grounds between packs and he has been training me to fight as a wolf would, but it would seem I lack a certain fines for getting past the wolves' keen eyes. He was the one to teach me the necessary pressure points to press during a fight with one if the need ever arose. He taught me that I wouldn't be able to defeat them with my strength, so I had to learn every fighting position they knew and go over the tactics they used. Derick told me that I had to have the knowledge to defend myself if I were to survive living in the pack, to be weak was death in a pack.

As I entered the school I tried to hide in the shadows of the school because the  future Beta was testing the air, most likely for me. I stuck in the shadows, where I felt most comfortable, for the rest of the day. And lukily for me my spray kept the beta off my trail and none of the wolves bothered me or hit on me. I let out a relieved sigh when the final bell rang and I was free of the school's confines. I had to go before he caught sight of me and started to follow me. I was really getting annoyed with him lurking where I can't see him and stalking me.

I was on my way home when I caught sight of him at my front door, obviously waiting for me. He was wanting something because he actually took the time to beat me home and wait, and not stalk me home for once, but what did he want? That superspeed came in handy when you want to bother a person didn't it? I thought bitterly before trying to find an escape route.

I saw two other wolves in the woods, obviously on a patrol around my house, and knew that was out the question. If I ran they would catch up before I got far enough to cry for help. I lingered in the shadows for a while longer until I had formed a plan of escape from these people. I knew they wouldn't dare break into a pack member's house. To my right there was a large Oak, still in the shadows, that lead to my room in the house. Thank God we had a forest right next to our house. Now all I had to do was get over there quietly so that the beta wouldn't hear me and climb it. Unfortunantly for me the fates hated me as he knew I was there, my spray had worn off earlier than expected, the wind blew his way and he froze.

He looked my way and I ran, but thanks to that wonderful wolf speed of his he caught me and pinned me to the ground. I started to strugle and was getting nowhere so plan B it is, inocent act. I stoped struggling and his weight shifted slightly off my pinned form. When I let him see the fake defeat in my eyes, he thought had won, not today beta.

Beta Jake'sPOV

About 30 minutes before the school day ended I left to wait for her. Lucky for me both of her parents worked today. I had been looking for her all day, I couldn't smell her but every so often I would catch a glimps of her lerking in the shadows. I just needed to ask her questions about her past, just so I knew if someone was looking for her.

She's hiding something and I want to know what it is. So there I was waiting on her front porch for her retern home. The wind blew in my direction and I froze, she was home? I thought she might run away when she first saw me but then again she doesn't want to look suspicous and draw attention to herself. So I turned and looked her in the eyes, when our eyes met she started to run to a tree off to her right, and thanks to my wolf's speed, caught her and pinned her to the ground. Abby is going to kill me if she finds out that I just tackled Marcella. She started to struggle, and I was strugling to hold her down, I needed to talk to her trainer about making her this strong. Finally she quite fighting and I saw the defeat in her eyes, but with her I didn't know how much of it was real.
